“What can I say? I just love target in general. You can come here with needing only one item and yet you managed to find 10 or 20 items that you never knew that you needed. There's selection of things are much better quality I feel than other places that are comparable to target. The prices here are great, especially being that you can price match their own prices online. The store is always clean and the staff is always professional and I am a lifelong customer. The only thing that I wish remained the same was the Pizza Hut near the entrance. Unfortunately no it is self serve on the pizzas are just not the same.”
“This place has specialty, higher end, harder to find food items that are on the expensive end of cost. The young man cashier was friendly and gave me a bag to put my items in because it was raining.I've yet to consume my venison sticks but I'm sure they're good.”

“Well-stocked with an amazing variety of local favorites and grocery staples, friendly helpful staff and top tier bakery section...KTA Puainako has always been my families go-to store bakery for birthdays or just sweet treats to bring home. Happy to say since moving back to the Big Island I now carry that tradition. Must trys: KTA chantilly cake (second only to standard bakery), date nut bars which are def underrated or the scrumptious macadamia nut danish! For a quick and affordable grab n go lunch you could also opt for their prepared poke bowls or fresh bentos. Mahalo KTA Puainako :)”

“Good for some basics if you're not wanting to drive all the way over to Kona for your Costco items. A bit pricier than Costco but after you factor in time and gas cost of driving to Kona, probably worth it for a stock-up.”
“Good grocery store but not my favorite KTA location simply due to size and variety of items. I didn't see a Poke/seafood section or a bakery/hot food section. Still a great choice if you are visiting or base yourself close to downtown Hilo.”
“Cheapest gas station near Hilo Airport. This is a gas station operated by a supermarket chain called Safeway. If you plan to return your rental car at Hilo Airport, we recommend stopping here to get your last tank of gas. As expected from a gas station restaurant, you can always see a line of cars waiting to fill up. This is self-fueling, and you insert the card you wish to pay with first and then remove the card. After that, you can select whether to receive a receipt, select the octane level, and start refueling. The automatic refueling lever on the handle of the gas pump may be broken, so it may be inconvenient to have to keep holding it.”

“Such great employees at this location the deli and seafood counters have awesome people working there and the employees at the registers are always super friendly which keeps me coming back! I do suggest keeping your valuables hidden from sight due to the homeless issues in the area but just remain aware of wherever you are and whoever is around”
“I really appreciate that they have same day delivery. It's been a lifesaver since I've been stuck at home, sick. I signed up for a one month free trial to Fresh pass, which gets me free delivery. It's really come in handy.”

“Kierdan! You da man! I interrupted you while you were setting out berries and asked if there were any more seedless red grapes. There was only 1 package left on the produce floor. You said you'd go back and check, and to give you 3 minutes. You were back in under 2 -- I timed you! -- with a beautiful box of packaged red grapes and told me to take my pick! “Ultra clean store, a literal army of adolescents sweeping, restocking inventory and always a polite "Hello", as you enter, but something is missing..There's nothing that stands out, that is, other than the cleanliness of the store and the orderliness of the shelves, there's no single food item on the menu that calls to you.The selection is "meh" at best!Great people, great service but it's No Alicia's market,Mokueia St ,Hnl, that's for sure!Turn key operation with very hard workers at best!”
