“They have great movies and incredible books. I needed some vintage color schemes for web design, so I found an old designer book with a bunch. Everybody should visit this place! Great for tourists many souvenirs for an incredible price!”
“Mostly furniture, but there are special sections for plumbing, tools, paint, lighting (very good), doors, etc. The pricing on the furniture can be high - look for Orange stickers - half price. I needed a replacement mirror door for a closet. The one remaining door had a CW sticker with a serial number. It came from Home Depot. I went to Home Depot on the instructions of CW (Contractors Warehouse) who couldn't help. After a few days, HD called back and said I'd have to buy the whole 2 mirrored door unit - $300+. Went to HH next day, found the door, excellent condition - $10. Really - $10. Fit perfectly, adjusted the rollers w a Phillips screwdriver, and learned a lesson. So Habitat on Lower Main Street in Wailuku has some great deals, and the staff are really solid. And you know what you do pay goes to good work. Shop carefully, wisely, test stuff, plug in electrical things, try them - there are no returns. Lots of artists & crafts people pouring through the prints, frames, artist's supplies. Be nice to the staffers. jld”
“Such a cute little boutique. Even the staff was super nice & helpful. I found a cute little black dress & on my way out I grabbed a woman helping woman brochure. I wished I would have had that brochure back when I was a teen in high school. Maybe I wouldn’t have gone down that pathway of abusive relationships. Because it’s so easy to say I would never let that happen to me. Yet abuse isn’t always so obvious as in physical abuse. It can be disguised in other forms & in each moment it’s so easy to make up excuses. But in reality those little red flags add up fast & it’s so easy to lose yourself in that hole you’ve accidentally dug.”

I intended to check on their thrift store, but this salvation army branch doesn't have one, the nearest is branch would be Kihei and has the thrift store. Anyways it was a resourceful center, staff is delightful and kind to people and the homeless.”
“This thrift store is well organized and has lots of stuff for every need. Not everything is priced but what is appears to be very reasonable. Volunteer staff were friendly and helpful.It is a out of the way but makes for a nice diversion for an hour and is well worth the time.Lots of easy parking in the church parking lot.”
