A place where you can buy small items such as pretty clothes with the Maui logo and special magnets. You can also try on clothes and buy them.

The staff here are rude and unwelcoming. We visited this store during a previous visit to Maui and figured we'd check it out again because they had some cool stuff. When entering the store we missed the janky handmade "no strollers" sign on the door, the staff immediately yelled at us to get out. The store was empty and there was clearly enough room to navigate with a small stroller. No other stores in Paia had an issue with strollers. I would have probably bought something here, but chose to take my money elsewhere.

Never EVER coming here again, when entering the store everything was going great until I kept seeing a workers eye following us around. it was quite uncomfortable but my gf was in her own world and didn’t notice the peeping tom., after my gf tried on her clothes she put the items back where she found them. And as we were leaving the peeping Tom asked us where the clothes were while holding two empty hangers. my gf told her she put it back but the worker kept asking where the clothes for the hangers were and my gf had to keep explaining it felt as tho they were accusing my gf and I of stealing.

My family had a great conversation with Stanton today. We made many purchases but our conversation was priceless. Thank you for all the stories. You ended our family vacation on a high note!

We had two boys, 7 and 10, with us and were followed around by a store employee who was very rude. It was obvious they didn't want our business. Sad, because I had bought several items a few days before. I will not be a future buyer.

Alice in Hulaland: Where the merchandise is as impressive as their staff's unique approach to hangers! Prices are reasonable, but don't expect royal treatment – more like a quirky follow-the-leader vibe. If you can handle the fussy, it's the perfect spot for truly unique Maui memories. ? Bonus, I caught the owner doling out respect to his staff like it was going out of style & they kept the lights on for us to finish our shopping a few minutes past closing. ? Mahalo for the very unique shopping experience!! We highly recommend!

Funky, eclectic, hippie boutique that was very fun to check out! There is a good mix of items, such as patches, magnets, tshirts and jewelry for a variety of prices. The staff was friendly and helped my husband secure a dressing room to try on a shirt. Gotta give the staff credit for dealing with crummy shoplifters while still having a positive attitude. While there were locally made earrings that I bought, I'd love to see more locally made items at this shop.

This lovely, fun, totally unique store is amazing and an essential shopping stop for every Maui visit! I'm lucky enough to have found the most unique, wonderful gifts and fun things here. The staff is warm and accomodating. They were even kind enough to help me as I couldn't get a few gifts out of my mind during my departure, when i arrived at the airport...I called the store and they remembered me and knew exactly what I wanted. They were kind enough to even mail some things to me!! I loved my perfect gifts so much I even ordered again from the mainland. They promptly mailed those orders to me too! I love this store and the team and look forward to visiting everytime I'm in Maui ❤️

Immediately upon entering the store we were asked to leave as we had a small baby traveller stroller with sleeping child. The store empty !!! No customers. She said we had to leave the store no strollers allowed and no signs were posted. The statement was unacceptable and rude. What if someone with a wheel chair entered the store. This store deserves 0 stars. They don't want your business at all. Discriminatory.

I had the same terrible experience today 9/6 as many other would-be customers, turned away by the store owner himself. During my initial visit ~3pm, I found a tote bag that I wasn't ready to purchase. I asked a store employee what time the store closed, and was told 6pm, which is noted on the store front & this store's Google listing. When I returned at 5pm, the sign said Open but the door was locked. I knocked, the store owner came to the door said "We're CLOSED!", then flipped the sign. I responded that his employee told me it would be 6pm today, that I knew exactly what I wanted to buy & that it was a $72 purchase. He shook his head while waving his hand at me and yelling "5 o'clock closing! We open at 10am tomorrow." If you don't maintain your closing hours, how can I trust that you maintain your opening hours? (I needed a tote bag today, for a flight tomorrow & had spent the time between store visits packing my luggage to ensure that the tote bag would be the right size.) The owner rejected the business of myself and no less than 4 other adults standing around me, also confused why he was waving his 5 fingers as he stood behind his sign that read 6pm. I immediately looked for & bought an alternative tote basket at Mana Foods. I am the second person this summer who posted about trying to buy an ALOHA tote bag, which were some of the highest priced items in his store and seemed to be one of the only Hawaiian-made products sold. ALOHA tote bags can be purchased on their own website, as of today at a 20% discount & available in a larger selection of prints. Today was my last day in Maui after a 3.5 week visit; this has been the only negative experience with any business & quite a shocking one compared with everyone else I've interacted with in the post-wildfire economic slump.

During our recent visit to Maui we went into this store a couple of times. I thought maybe the first time was a fluke but honestly, it wasn't. We were followed around the store by staff as if we were going to steal something. There are so many more amazing stores in Paia, I would avoid this place. I have family about 20 minutes from this location and will not ever visit this place again. Not sure if it was because we had dark skin tones but I would hope that wouldn't be the case. Do better.

I visited once on Sunday (6/18), and I had an amazing experience. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and made small talk with my friends and I. There was an Aloha brand bag I wanted to buy, but I wanted to keep shopping in case I found it elsewhere. But alas I didn’t, so I returned to the store, and mind you the store doesn’t close til 6. I knew exactly where the bag was and was just gonna run in, grab it, and leave. I did not plan on walking around the store looking over every inch because we didn’t arrive to the store until 5:50. But the posted hours on the door are closed at 6. When I approached the door, the closed sign was already posted with 10 minutes until the store was supposed to actually be closed. My friend, whom I was visiting here, approached the door after I told her what the sign said and asked the employee through the door if they were actually closed and the employee said yes. If you’re going to close the store early, you might as well change your hours and don’t advertise that you’re open til 6 if you close earlier than that.
