So competent and friendly, every bank is limited by the industry rules and regulations but the awesome folks at Pahoa branch really seem to care and solve problems. Keep it up ??

I do not bank here myself, but my father did for many years. He loved the bank and the service he received here. When he passed away everyone at the bank was extremely helpful and considerate. I can't thank them enough for all they have done to help assist us and make the process as easy for us as possible with his financial information. Based on the professionalism we have received, I would definitely bank here.

I asked for a bank statement of my checking account from the teller at the counter. The teller asked me "why?". I cannot comprehend why the efficiency of providing me a bank statement of my account would be sacrificed for asking the reason that I wanted a bank statement. For efficiency's sake, I answered the question immediately. She then said it is $5 to give me a bank statement, which did not matter to me at all that is fine. But then she said, "but don't worry, I won't charge you, my boss isn't here." Again I just question the lack of efficiency. Who cares if your boss is there or not. I don't. Just provide the bank statement so I can go. I'm not here to analyze you psychologically by your random remarks. Otherwise a good place. I chose this bank because they recognized my presence while I was there, whereas Bank of Hawaii I stood in the bank for 5 minutes and no one looked at me or said anything.
