It is the only place in Pahoa open 24 hours. For that alone it deserves a couple of stars. Need a tampon at 3 AM? 7-Eleven is open. Despite check-out lines being unreasonably long (they really need at least one more employee so both registers can always be open, especially when it is busy), employees are always nice and cordial. This may seem like a ridiculous complaint, but I really don't understand the reasoning behind a rule they have. They stop selling alcohol 15 minutes before 11 PM. 11 PM is state law for "off-premise" alcohol sites such as grocery, convenience, and liquor stores. They show no leniency towards their 10:45 PM rule.

Gia is kinda crazy! Get a new employee who doesn't think they own the franchise. She is a know it all and makes things harder than they need to be. An adult foreigner brought in a written list of 3 cigs he wished to buy since he doesnt speak English... and she rudely denied him service assuming that he was trying to purchase them for someone else. He left very confused. Frankly I am too

Fast and convienint to get my slurpee fix. The parking lot is small so I never stop if they are busy. The employees have always been kind and helpful.
