I understand it’s a hard place to work and the staff always tries their best, so i’m thankful for what they do and I have never had a problem they couldn’t try to fix

Why does this place have a 24-hour self service machine in a lobby that is locked after business hours?

I like this location, the staff is friendly and even when there is a line it goes fast.Only thing would be that it would be nice to have after hours access to the self service kiosk.

I ship weekly through this location. Always helpful during business hours. The speed of the service seems the same across the board. I use the airport location quite often as well...same experience. The reason I am not giving this location five stars is because it locks the doors after 5pm and requires a code that only PO box users are allowed to have. It's very inconvenient to lose access to the self checkout machine. This location opens late, 9am which doesn't work for most business professionals who are on the road already. Earlier hours or access to the self checkout after hours would fix the issue. Overall, good experience when their doors are open.

Normally I don't have any problems with our deliveries to our home but lately it's been bad latest one was a box from Amazon that was empty smashed and placed in a trash bag and in my mailbox with no notes whatsoever. So I go to the post office spoke to a counter person who couldn't help me so referred me to her supervisor that was busy at the time which is understandable so asked for my information and said he or she will contact me asap. Three days later nothing. Now the counter workers are super friendly and helpful but can't say the same for the supervisor. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate to my needs. Hopefully they future things out because if it were them I'm sure they'd be upset too.

TAKE ACTION IF YOUR MAIL IS LOST OR MISHANDLED - See bottom for numbers and other information about taking action when the local post office doesn't help you or take responsibility. Be careful about ordering hold mail services from the Mililani Post Office. Proper procedures were not followed at this location by our mail carrier from 8/01-8/08/22 and accumulated mail was not delivered on the date we returned. Instead, pieces were delivered scattered throughout the week with new mail and SEVEN paper paychecks are unaccounted for. I receive scans of the mail that arrive on Honolulu through the USPS app, so I know these checks arrived in Honolulu on 8/01/22. What is concerning is one other piece of mail that was scanned on the same date was eventually delivered late (8/10/22) but all seven of the paper checks that were in the same batch are mysteriously missing. I was forced to put a stop payment on all of these checks, and what is more frustrating is that the manager at the Mililani post office showed no remorse. I didn't even receive an apology. I called them three times: the first time I spoke to a lady who put me on hold and said she found some of my mail and she isn't sure why the carrier didn't deliver it; the second time, the manager (Sean) told me he was going to call me back after he spoke with the carrier, but he didn't. The third time I called the next day, and he said the carrier told him he delivered everything so there is nothing they can do about the missing mail. He didn't apologize for not calling me back and never once took any responsibility for the missing mail. I asked him what can I do about this, and he was like "I don't know" and when I mentioned the inspector general, he said something like yeah if that's what the USPS app says then do that. He also said something could've happened between Honolulu, where the checks were scanned, and Mililani. I reminded him that the carrier did not deliver my accumulated mail bundled with the printout of the hold request, which has been my experience with hold mail requests for the last 30+ hold mail requests over the years, and he just said "if" he didn't follow the procedure for hold mail, they will remind him of what to do in the future. Wow--"if" he didn't follow it. I spent three days telling them I didn't get all of my mail and the accumulated mail wasn't delivered and one representative already admitted she didn't know why the carrier didn't deliver some of the mail she found, and it's still "if." Whether or not something happened to those paychecks between Honolulu and Mililani, the fact is our mail was not properly held for the week we were away and as a result, all of the mail was not delivered. The fact that at the local level there was no offer to rectify the situation and no responsibility taken for this mismanagement of mail other than to say they will remind him of proper procedures, indicates my complaint needs to be taken to the next level. Obviously the word of the carrier carries more weight than my words do, so here is what I did: I filed an official complaint with the inspector general over the missing paychecks, and I filled a mismanagement of the held mail procedure with the district office. I want you all to know that you should do the same if your mail is missing or mishandled, especially if you also receive scans of mail like I do and then it never shows up in your mailbox. You can either call 1-888-877-7644 or file a complaint with the inspector general at if the items missing are financial in nature and you are suspicious of theft or mismanagement or contact the consumer affairs at the district office in your area if you feel like the local agents are unhelpful. In Hawaii, you can can 808-423-3917 for the Honolulu office or 1-800-275-8777 if you want to ensure a report is generated and receive a service request number. To get to an agent with the 800 number, choose the "mail" option and keep following prompts

Not sure why it takes 10+ business days to get from Mililani USPS to Honolulu Airport USPS for mainland shipping (Maybe they used a boat to deliver this?). I understand I shipped it a slower method but this is ridiculous. Thanks a lot for your 2-9 business day estimate to get to Florida from Hawaii. Manager mentioned it is not unusual that the package will arrive 3 months later. You kidding me right?

Nice clean place to mail your packages. Staff is pretty friendly, always looking to save you money by promoting the flat-rate boxes, even after you’ve securely packed your own. There is a package drop box inside for those who are technologically advanced and have scales and other means to print their own labels. Again, it has to be in a priority mail flat-rate box. Oh, and they have a self-serve kiosk on site for those agoraphobic folks (no judgement…in fact, I don’t blame you). All in all, when you step into this post office, you’ll be entering a universe of swirling letters and packages. This is especially true in December! Have fun!
