By far one of the best nursery’s on island. Amazing staff, a sprawling campus, & a wide diversity of species. Healthy, full pots. You can always rely on Mari’s.

The small store at the gardens is organized and full of items to choose from. The selection of fresh greens is a plus as they harvest them on site so guarantee it's fresh! Displays and gardening items are very nice. Please support our local small business owners! The prices are comparable, another good reason to shop there.

Mari's Garden in Kailua is WONDERFUL! The staff is super nice and accommodating, I work at an assisted living facility and brought 5 residents there for a shopping trip. I called ahead of time to see if the transportation we use could fit and they were so nice and accommodating. The residents really enjoyed looking at all the different plants and beautiful pots and accessories. I also really enjoyed my time there :) thanks again Mari's garden staff in Kailua.

Went to a work shop and really enjoyed it. I was surprised that it was a full class, how did the others find out about these classes (I was give the class as a present from my son who knew I liked kokedamas). There was one main instructor but many assistants to help all of us make a reasonable facsimile item that could pass for a kokedama. All the items needed to make it was in front of us and only a few things were shared. Really well organized. I sat next to a woman (there were few men) who had been to other classes here and she was helpful in giving me pointers. Appreciated her. And there was a light lunch provided. Greens from their garden and dessert from La Tour. Most people (like me) took theirs home. Class over and most of us went into the store/gift shop adjacent to the class to buy items to make more kokedamas. All in all a delightful way to spend a few hours.

I was looking for plants for my new terrarium that I was building. I went to many different places but couldn't find what I wanted. I discovered Mari's Garden when I did an online search. I'm so glad that I did. It's located deep in the older part of Mililani. When I finally found it I was amazed at how big it is and how many different plants that they have. It's a really peaceful place to visit and I felt very relaxed. The workers are very friendly and helpful. There's a huge selection of terrarium plants and accessories. The air conditioned store also has fresh produce. They sell their own brand of mixed lettuce which is the best that I've ever tasted. I also bought some tomatoes, carrots, apple bananas and a papaya. If you're looking for plants, plant accessories and fresh produce you should definitely visit Mari's Gardens. Everything is very reasonably priced and I was happy that they have a public restroom ( I had a long drive from town ). They also have a Mari's Urban Gardens in the Kakaako area which I may visit in the future.

I don't know how many years that Mari's have been around but my wife and I went for the first time on a Saturday in May. It was recommended by my son who had just purchase a new home and was shopping for plants. It is located in lower Mililani where the oldest neighborhoods are and you have to pay attention to where you are going because it is in a cul de sac that you could easily bypass. While entering the nursery, I noticed a lot of vehicles parked and I thought that this nursery must be very popular. We managed to find parking and shortly afterwards we saw that there was a large hands on class being held that morning. My wife was definitely interested in attending future classes after observing for a while. We roamed the property and was amazed that not only we never knew this place existed but also how huge the property is. Later we visited the store and purchased some crimini mushrooms to take home. This place is a real gem that seems to have been here for a while and is worth visiting whether you are looking for plants or not.

Often when I purchase a plant form this location I’m also purchasing scale, spider mites, mealy bugs and root rot. I recommend not buying expensive plants from here ( I purchased an albo Monstera) because the stress of keeping the plant free of the pest is not worth the money. Do not recommend this nursery for many other reasons as well. Overpriced as well.

I am so glad I learned of this amazing garden store in Mililani. I would have never come across it until it was recently recommended to me. It's nestled deep in Mililani neighborhood, but the garden is quite large. I came here looking for gifts and found the perfect items in their indoor store as well as outdoor garden. They have so many beautiful plants in their greenhouse. For example, I wanted to get a ZZ plant and they had 30+ diff pots of it! It's wonderful to be able to have such a selection. In another area, they also have all the ceramic pots where they host their classes and workshop. The prices were all very reasonable. On par with what I've found at farmers markets as well. They also offer CSA boxes of local fruits and veggies. The amazing part is you can pick up any day of week and ordering can be done online anytime. It's so flexible compared to any other fresh produce service we've found. The gift shop inside is so cute. You can really tell a lot of love went into the shop and they curated all the cutest items you could possibly find related to plants.

A little pricey & you are on your own with no assistance when looking for plants. They sell hydroponic vegetables and most people come here to buy that. Convenient for those on this side of Island. Not wheelchair accessible Friendly people and pleasant. But I took a drive to get plants in Waimanalo.

The plant selection they had was amasing and had a ton of variety. The plant selection varied so much that I bought a cactus with fluff instead of spikes

Surprisingly large facility, tucked into a corner of Mililani. I went with my 90 year old mother-in-law, and she was running out of steam as we walked around. I'd recommend a portable chair if browsing with an older person.Workers there were not pushy, and let us wander about. If we had questions, they were helpful and nearby. Overall, a good experience.

We were on a quest for water lily. They had some water plants, but not water lilies at this time. Their store is really nice and all the staff is great. Lots of other nice plants. Will go back for other plants.
