I randomly called this location for an urgent visit for my dog and they were able to take me that day. Unfortunately we loss our dog before the scheduled appointment so I called to let them know we no longer needed to come in. I was emotional during the call and said out loud, “I don’t know what to do now.” I was saying it to myself and the person in the phone thought I was saying it to them lol She was so nice and advised that I could bring him in and they would assist with cremation services. We got there just before closing and I didn’t feel rushed, they graciously offered us to go into a private room to say our final goodbyes. I appreciate their patience and grace. So much aloha in a time we needed it the most. I appreciate them so much <3

Not a fan of this pet hospital. I did not have any issues before but since they have new people working there now, my experience has been awful. My puppy, which is a golden retriever, was scared of everything!! He's not used to be around people and other dogs so he does bark alot and is a bit hyper. Which is normal since he is still a puppy. I was already having a hard time trying to calm him down but instead of trying to understand the situation, I was getting the annoyed look from the people that works there which is bad especially that they work to serve animals. I was also asked to wait outside with my dog which I think was very rude. My point is, it's a pet hospital. Barking and hyper dogs should not be a problem since it is part of their job to care for them. And it's not like I was not trying to calm him down, I was trying my hardest. I think having a great attitude is a must to work with pets and their owners. Unfortunately, I did not get that with the 2 visit we had within a week span.

Do not bring your dog here unless you want to give them money only to pay much more down the road. Let me explain.... My pug and I moved to O'ahu about 3 months ago. I took her to Ke'Ola as they had good reviews and another vet around Mililani said they were a good place to go. My pug had some blood in her urine and was drooling excessively and not eating properly. They diagnosed her UTI and gave her the proper diet/ medication for it. I was thankful, but continued to inquire about her mouth since my dog is NOT a drooler. 3.5 years in CA and she never drooled and never had a problem chewing or licking. I visited them 3 times and each time I asked about the mouth they said.... "nothing too serious, just brush her teeth more." So I did... I TRIED brushing her teeth every day, but she was not having it! This is now 2.5 months after the first time I spoke to them about it and now she's drooling heavily and doesn't want to eat her food cuz it hurts. I took her into the amazing, yet pricey ER hospital, VERC, and they took such great care of her! They also actually listened to me, didn't brush me off and told me they need to sedate to find more. Well they did. They found infections, an abcess and an ulcerated tongue. ALL things that have only been getting worse because they were NEVER properly addressed. They said I was just being a CONCERNED parent when they brushed away her mouth issues. Now, with the exacerbated problem it's going to cost me a few grand $$ to correct these issues that I told them about almost 3 months ago! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! Unfortunately, VERC, doesn't do primary care or I'd be with them ALL the time! I'll update with a better vet once I find one. This is NOT the place.

I'm so glad that we found this little gem after trying a few veterinary clinics. The veterinarian is amazing and informative, all of the staff we've dealt with have been so kind and helpful, the office is clean, and to top it all off this might be one of the most affordable veterinary offices I've been to.

We have found our Furrrrever vet hospital. Mahalo Dr. Yap and staff ohana(Gabby and Atsumi) We took our dog in recently and right from the beginning, our dog and ohana felt at ease. Dr. Yap is so kind and calm and our dog felt safe in her care. Hina's(dog) surgery went smooth and was done quickly, I am very pleased with the professional service of this entire hospital. The other Dr.(Yashima) is great too, we've had great service and care from everyone. Please consider Ke Ola Pet Hospital for your furever Vet. Your pets will thank you too. :)

Ever since we found Dr. Yap for our late Labrador Charlie, we bring all our dogs here. Great service and friendliness has never changed over the years. Although the fur babies hate going to the vet, Dr. Yap, Dr. Mishima, Brittaney and the rest of the team is always so good and gentle with them. They never force any treatment or medication, and have always had honest recommendations. We don't ever want to bring our fur babies anywhere else if we could avoid it.

I will start off with this... It's pricy!! But i haven't been to any other since being on the island, so compared to our old vet in NY, its expensive, as in the office visit, and the vaccines!! HOWEVER; they were absolutely fantastic. I felt so comfortable (not normal for me in any office type setting), and every person i came in contact with was extremely friendly! The lady at the front desk was very helpful and informative... The vet and assistant were both great with my dog (shes very timid with people) and understanding. We were a double booked appointment and we didn't even wait very long.

Went in today around 1:15 pm to get the heart worm pills for my dog. I guess person working today was new because I came in and stood there waiting for her to help me. Waited about 5 minutes standing there. Then I sat down for another 15 minutes and she never acknowledged me or said anything. I looked around and no one else was even in there. I ended up shaking my head in disgust, then left after at least 20 minutes of her not even letting me know what’s up. Poor social skills for sure...
