Makawao Hongwanji Buddhist Temple is a center of spiritual growth, learning, and compassionate community service in the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji tradition, with a history in Maui dating back to 1907. Buddhists of all traditions, fellow travelers on the path of spiritual growth, and visitors are always welcome.
