I've been going to my CPA Harold jd Berman since 1984 Mr. Amazing!! no complaints here! For all the stress it is a good thing Harold is still here! He will handle it & get it done the right way, so worth my money & no more stress ! AWE! Harold & his team of assiciates are helpful, patient,& beautiful Thank you so much!

Not happy with this preparer. Quoted 1000 for personal taxes. They ended charging 2500 when it came time to pay. I don’t have complex tax to prepare so that was just wrong. Then my amount to feds was 7100, the office staff told me that, the paperwork said that with Harold’s name on it. Then a letter comes from IRS stating I owe 9250. Checked multiple times with IRS and it’s correct they have no idea why my return says 7100 from Harold. Called and emailed for a breakdown of what happened with no response except “ yes you owe them 9250”Obviously I’m not going to them again and I would advise anyone to think twice. Office staff told me 2500$ was their standard personal return rate after Harold verbally quoted us 1000$ when we were talking about hiring him. Bait and switch

Not happy with his overpriced personal return rate. About 4 times the average (2300$).... I'll keep looking for someone who can get it done for a fair price.

Harold Berman has been my husbands Tax Attorney for his business for 35+ years and for our personal taxes. My experience has always been very positive if we prepare for our appointment. I would highly recommend their services.

I would not recommend this tax accountant. We went to Harold for several years, though we were overall happy with his services as he made things work to our acceptance, however in the last couple of years, he has become extremely arrogant and extremely unprofessional. As a client, I believe I have the right to ask questions pertaining to our tax return, as he dropped the ball on our 2020 tax return. When we contacted him to discuss, he got very defensive and became belittling when questioned with his errors. He knew he had made a big mistake and refunded back the $688 that he charged us to do our taxes, which was way too much to just do a joint tax return with no complications. His prices just kept increasing each year, and became apparent to us in becoming greedy and the expectation that he is worth it. He is not..he did not even have the decency to apologize for his mistakes, but rather says that he will no longer prepare our taxes. Did he really think that we would return for his services, absolutely not. Even after speaking with his staff about his actions, they agreed that he is not a very polite business man. He's really lucky that I did not turn him into the IRS, as he would have had faced some unpleasant consequences.
