We love American Savings Bank. Staff is kind, professional and when we go in with any questions if they cant answer right away they call us the same day after they find out the answer. I have had staff give their bus card with direct line and email to call anytime. We have been now with ASB over decade and so happy. They are our bank for life. I like that the staff has a low turn over. This is a sign of great management. During the pandemic they were bombarded with calls and emails by customers yet still managed to email us back every step of the way and showing grace, patience and compassion. This week we miscalculated our account and a check did not go through but due to Covid-19 they waived the fee and cleared it. Thank you being there for our family during these hard times. When times are tough and your incredibule transpanarncy is pheoninal and your a bank with a heart.

Staff is friendly and efficient, much better than other banks in the upcountry area. Hours are great and open on Saturdays. They always have several people working and staff is knowledgable. Definite Like!

The branch manager Bonnie West is very unprofessional. We've had an unresolved issue with a dispute we filed back in October 2019. We were told by their claim department, she is the only person who can help us. We left several messages for her, she never bothered to return our call. It's been 5 months and we still don't have our money. Also, we closed our line of credit but the bank would still charged us annual fee even though the line of credit was closed. We had to personally do it in person at the Pukalani branch and even got a confirmation in writing. A week later and we still don't have our money. The worst bank ever!

OMG! STAY AWAY!!! The worst bank service ever. Bonnie West should be a manager of duty. What a Joke! I called so many times, left a several messages, this lady is always "out, not there yet, in a meeting", obviously everyone on the floor is lying for her. I am changing the bank now!

Was called up next, said good morning, layed my info on counter, the teller picked up my info, never saying a word, handling my transaction, afterwards I said, I should get 5 dollars , the teller asked why, I said you never said hello, gave a strange look ... customer service is going down the toilet in this STATE in a hurry !

I mostly just use the ATM. Outside. But when I di bank inside the tellers are always friendly and nice. I was going to switch banks at a point but it was due to another branch giving my money away to someone. But I have had no problems with this location.

Wow!! this bank is amazing and not in a good way! I'm extremely dissapointed in their customer service, or lack thereof. Lost my personal debit card and i tried calling & emailing them to report it stolen/lost and no one answered the phone. After being on hold for 43 minutes, i gave up! I'm praying no thief is going to make charges on my card!

If you are in a rush DO NOT go to this branch. Parking is tight, there is always 5 people "working" but only one window open and the rest just talking to each other with 7 people in line. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I usually wait to write reviews to make sure they are accurate and helpful and yes I'm reconfirming .... this happens every time I come to this branch, which unfortunately is the closest to my home. The extra star is because the staff is nice enough. Nothing extraordinary but not rude so far either. So overall this branch is kind of just "meh". Also, this didn't affect my rating in stars, however I HATE the smell of subway and their AC is connected so the bank LITERALLY smells like old subway.
