Our day on the water with Captain Anna and First Mate Tennasyn on S/V Nova was incredible! We were lucky enough to catch an Ono the day we were out – what an experience that was. Captain Anna’s skills getting the fish onboard was impressive. We stopped at a snorkel stop and Tennasyn led us where to look – I felt very safe venturing off as we snorkeled. Good food and plenty of it onboard (breakfast, snacks and lunch). Highly recommend this trip

Maui Custom Charters is full of a trustworthy, fun, and knowledgeable crew. Kelly and Kelly made us feel like family and shared Maui with us. I could not recommend this company enough. The boat was safe and clean and the adventures were incredible. I will be booking only Maui Custom Charters from now on!!! Highly highly recommend

So wonderful, fun, laid-back. Beautiful boat, beautiful views, beautiful fish. Capt. Kiera is awesome! She was great conversation and made us feel at ease – very knowledgeable and we felt very safe with her. Can’t recommend this group enough!

Total overall awesome experience. Caught fish, saw a whale breach, saw sea turtles, snorkeled and sailed between the islands. I would give more stars if that were possible. I highly recommend this charter to everyone.

Had the most amazing day!!! If 6 stars were offered, I’d have given 6 stars. Whales breaching next to the boat; sea turtles; catching tuna; unfurling the jib sail & lounging on the front trampolines.

Maui Custom Charters is the best choice for private sailing & snorkeling! Captain Kiera and Annie took us out for a 4 hour trip on the Nova and it was such an amazing time. Their passion for the island and the water was evident and their desire to deliver an exceptional experience for our group was clear from the moment they said hello. They quickly learned the names of everyone in our group of 6 and treated us like friends immediately. I can’t say enough good things about them! This will be your favorite excursion/activity on the island. Mahalo Captain Kiera and Annie!

Our family spent the day with Kiera and Tennasyn on Nova last week and it was an incredible experience!! From the moment we step onto the boat we were greeted with friendly smiles and clear instructions. The boat was clean and it great shape. We had a memorable day sailing, snorkeling, watching for turtles and flying fish. Both Kiera and Tennasyn were patient and excellent with our kids and even included them in raising the sails. The way the crew worked together and sailed the boat was fascinating to watch. They were an excellent team and handled the boat with ease. They answered our many questions about the water, sea creatures, and Hawai’i in general during our sail. We swam and snorkeled with so many sea turtles!! The snacks and lunch on the boat were delicious and beautifully presented. Our drinks were replenished all day and the incredible crew did everything they could to make us comfortable and happy- even down to playing the music our kids requested. It truly felt like a dream being in such a beautiful place with such kind and enjoyable people. It was certainly a highlight of our trip and a core memory made for our family!! We highly recommend seeing Hawaii from the water with Maui Custom Charters!!

If you are looking for an excursion while here in Maui, I highly recommend Maui Custom Charters.
They took us out for a full day sailing/snorkeling adventure today on Nova and it was incredible!! The crew was top notch— professional and personable. They took care of every detail for our family and captained the boat with confidence and ease. Watching them sail was fascinating! They even let our kids raise the sails. We were served snacks and a beautiful lunch and they kept our glasses full all day. The crew was so attentive and helpful- photographing our family, answering all of our questions about the water, island, ocean wildlife, guiding and instructing us with snorkeling and were all together very enjoyable to be around. The boat was nice, clean and comfortable. Seeing Maui from the water is amazing! If you have the time give them a call- it will certainly be a trip to remember!!

My husband and two daughters (ages 9 & 15) went on a daytime sail with Tennasyn and Monroe for some snorkeling. 10 out of 10 would recommend! We will definitely repeat on our next trip to Maui. Absolutely delightful.

What a wonderful time!! Captain Kiera & Makana were the best; attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and an excellent crew. We felt so safe under their care. Saw a mother and baby whale playing together and it was joyful. To be on a boat with a select few was a real treat. Give yourself a gift and book a private charter with Maui Custom Charters:)

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Captain Kiera and Tennyson were phenomenal hosts and we enjoyed every minute of our 3 hour whale watch/sunset cruise. The Nova is a great boat and very stable, snacks/charcut plate were awesome and it seemed like our drinks were always full. 150% recommend this group--we will be back! If you are considering booking with them--do it, you will not regret it!

Captain Anna + first mate Morgan were such a joy to spend the afternoon with. We had a tough weather day the initial appointment and they were able to accommodate our schedules for the following which ended up being perfect sailing + snorkeling conditions. We were amazed to see so many mama, baby + bachelor male whales playing so close to the boat. Listening to the whales sing while snorkeling truly brought me to tears. A once in a lifetime experience with such a knowledgeable, fun loving crew made the day so seamless. Can’t wait to come back!

100% recommend sailing with Maui custom charters! We sailed with captain Anna and Morgan and had the most amazing day watching whales (so many in February!) and snorkeling at coral gardens. The boat, Nova, was clean and comfortable for our group of 5 with lots of room to sit together and have wine and snacks or sit up at the front in the breeze. A great choice for any groups or families looking for an unforgettable day on the water!
