Nice store. However, they pull "re-pricing" game at the register. There were 2 people at the register yesterday. One was pulling off tags and handing them off to manager at the register. The volunteer did not like that I had an orange tag [1/2 off] on 2 sets of table napkins. She "verified" with manager. Mgr. did not like the price, referring to a dainty white tag that said 6 for $6, and that a volunteer must have mis priced it. And that I would be charged the full $6 [$1 each]. This was mistaken because this was clearly an old "donor" garage sale label AND it had been on the white line napkins. I realized that I was getting only 3 napkins - not 6 - so even that logic does not hold. I also bought a much larger pile of orange napkins, which were also priced $3. Not sure if I got those at $1.50. I was so surprised I did not push back strongly except to say that even at a thrift people make decisions based on pricing... The logic of "it's all for a good cause" does not excuse such behavior.

As of August 2022, Days they are open are Monday Wednesday Friday 9 AM - 1 PMExcellent thrift store. Friendly staff, lowprices, clean, organized, large variety of quality items, and clothing items organized by size.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! Plenty of aloha,clean, organized, great prices and safe related to anti Covid19 regulations. Loved it! This will be our go to place for used books. I also lucked out and found a beautiful undamaged Franciscan ware candy dish! I'm a collector. I knew it would be nice because it's part of Wilcox. Next time I'm taking sweets for the volunteers. Thank you! It was my very first venture out of my bubble thrifting since the pandemic began. I was wearing gloves and my mask and no one sneered at me! They were so kind and nonjudgmental. I felt so welcome. In such a scary world we all need peaceful, kind and safe places.I'm so glad I found you!
