We rented An older ACed Corolla with RAW and everything went smoothly. The car worked fine, was clean, and cost was as advertised. I got to use my old Bluetooth radio transmitter so I could use my phone for map audio which was perfect. Besides having a few bells and whistles I don’t see the reason to rent a new car and pay 2X more. I also liked the personal attention to detail and being able to work with a local business. Our Uber driver didn’t even know about this company which was a kick. Great service-
We forgot something small in the car and RAW mailed it to us promptly. Getting Uber to/from location was easy. Lyft was a bit less expensive. 10$ each way.
We will definitely use again. Thank you RAW!

Had an amazing time exploring Kauai using Rent-A-Wreck. Clayton was very helpful with the entire process & the vehicle suit our needs perfectly. The airport shuttle service was great. Highly recommend!

First foremost support the locals!! (Phuck “Corporate America”) I visited Kaua’i with NO game plan, no idea as to how I was going to get around or where I was gonna go or how things even operated!! Literally just started walking down the airport road and it was as if fate brought me to them! They provided me with a great little car with all the fancy stuff like A/C and filled me full of knowledge and information about the land and its layout! Any question I had or necessity they were able to provide! You couldn’t beat there prices with a stick! The hoops they have you jump through are nothing compared to “Corporate America!” They stand on business and I will be back!

Super helpful and convenient local company in Kauai, located very close to Lihuei airport. They offer a shuttle there and back for you. We rented a clean and perfectly running SUV which was wonderfully suited for exploring the island. Also very nice staff. Highly recommended.

This was our first trip to Kauai and first time to secure a vehicle from Rent-A-Wreck. Do not be deterred by the name, this car rental company is awesome! The cars they offer are used and definitely not shiny and new like the ones for rent at THOSE OTHER notable companies at the airport, but they are way more affordable and just as dependable. We made arrangements weeks before (advised) Pete picked us up at the airport with our vehicle and shared many insider details about the island and made certain we felt comfortable with our car. Driving Our Dodge felt comfortable, it was clean, and we drove the entire island without issues. We would definitely use Rent-A-wreck again if we are blessed to get back to the beautiful island of Kauai.

rented an old toyota camry to drive around the island. it was well loved and worn around the edges but provided the perfect adventure mobile and came at an amazing price. will always be using rent-a-wreck on the island!

Excellent costumer service, great car, perfect beach cruiser with air conditioning.

Great experience from paperwork done prior online to the pickup at the airport. The vehicle was reliable and air conditioned and the price was reasonable and affordable. Great communication and customer relations. No frills rental but highly recommend. Blend in with the locals!

Rent-A-Wreck came through for us! Our SUV was an older model but was clean and functional. The windshield height was tall as requested for my very tall son (6’3”). The a/c worked (only in the 3rd and 4th fan speed), but cooled the car down quickly and completely. We felt more like islanders than tourists in our vehicle. We received explicit texts from Rent-A-Wreck on picking up the vehicle. ALL of our questions were promptly answered through texts. We saved a TON OF $$ renting through Rent-A-Wreck and will do so again. THANK YOU RENT- A-WRECK!!!!
