From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, the staff was incredibly organized, friendly, and accommodating. They made sure to fit us in at a time that worked best for our busy schedule, and the entire process was seamless.
The receptionists deserve special praise for their amazing follow-up. After our visit, they called to check in on how my pet was doing, showing genuine care and concern. She also let us know a medication they had ordered was available and for our pet in the same day to get that medication. This extra step made me feel like my pet’s well-being was truly important to them.
During the visit, the care and thoroughness shown by the veterinarian were impressive. They took the time to listen to all my concerns, explain everything clearly, and provided thoughtful recommendations tailored to my pet’s needs. I felt reassured knowing that my pet was in such capable hands. The level of compassion and professionalism at this clinic is outstanding. 4379 Rice St, Lihue11 out of 10... The coffee is great and organic, but the service is OUTSTANDING, AMAZING, and outright the BEST I have ever had. Seriously, everyone in here is so helpful, happy, and out going...even Beau, the owner, came out and talked with us for a while and shared their story, I feel like I could not be supporting a better place. If I were a local, I would be getting coffee ☕️ here everyday, it certainly made my day today. I will definitely go back to get some coffee and visit when I come back to the island of Kauai! I really wish this shop was in our hometown or had one that was even close to the good vibes this place has. It is hard to come by and spot this cool! Mahalo to Beau Jo & the crew! ?

It’s all VERY sweet so just be aware. We came for breakfast. I’d recommend splitting a waffle if you don’t have a huge sweet tooth. No savory options that I recalled.
Easy seating, good access to parking.
Coffee was pricey but they had good, interesting options and homemade syrup.
The chickens were hanging out and not obtrusive.
Loved the half and half so I could try two.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of space for the kiddos. Also high sugar menu so anyone watching for that may want to share a waffle instead of having a whole one.

3-3601 Kuhio Hwy, LihueAmazing Açaí bowls and coffee stop on the way to the North Shore. I got the coconut cold brew and hubby had the salty Hawaiian. The açaí flavor is so creamy and smooth- not tart at all and their granola is hands down the yummiest.

Shaka Burgers Hawaii
2403 Ulu Maika St, LihueOne of the most Ono burgers we've ever had and feel fortunate to have just passed the truck one day. The shaka sauce is sublime on fries and there is a ton of perfectly cooked beef in the BURGERS. Our 3 year old literally ate half my shaka burger. Give me all the shaka fries you have! First stop when we go back to KAUAI!

Update: Back in Kauai again and this place was on the "must go to" list. The waitress was very nice when I asked to switch out the seltzer in the beer flight. I have visited microbreweries across Kauai and still think this one has the best beer on the island! For reference, I am a home-brewer and I do take my beer seriously. There were nice selections of various styles and all of the beers were good representations of each style. Once again, they did not disappoint! I'm keeping my review at five stars. They earned it!

3-825 Kaumualii Hwy, LihueWhile visiting the island, we participated in the field trip program and fostered a dog for a day. The dog, Asia, was such a sweet girl and so well behaved. We had such a fun time bringing her on a hike with us! We were provided with a bag full of all the supplies we could need - towel, water, treats, etc. What a wonderful and well-run program!
