This was a dumptster fire from the beginning. The company was rude, and inappropriate. The frontier truck had multiple recalls. Kuhio Motors was impossible to deal with on these. And at the lease termination, there was no one to deal with or to inspect the truck, and we ended up getting an unexpected bill months later that wasn't as Nissan Finance had told us to expect. Due to inability to deal with Nissan, we filed a complaint with the federal government. We would never do business with this dealer again.

It was EXTEREMLY EXPENSIVE. $179 for oil change-Despite having a coupon for $39.99 the dealer refuse to honor it and wanted the $99 coupon instead.
I WILL NOT be going back to the dealer for oil changes.
Another problem, dealer service is Monday to Friday, latest appt 1:45pm. Lack of consideration for people who actually work and have jobs.

My initial call to make an appointment for repairs to my vehicle and the details pertaining to it was not recorded and as a result when I arrived Michelle Bonilla was in familiar with my repair needs ahead of time. That shows a complete lack of communication or proper record keeping. I received a verbal estimate from Michelle that the repairs would cost around $1700 with parts and the work would take approximately a week to complete. About a week and a half later I received no notice or update on my vehicle so I decided to initiate a call to Michelle to inquire on the lateness of my repairs. I understand that repairs can take longer than estimated and would’ve appreciated an update since I’m spending additional funds to rent a temporary vehicle as no loaners were available. Michelle then explained to me that what she meant to say was the parts would arrive in a week and then the repairs to commence. That would have been helpful information to begin with and ended up costing me more time and money to have to rent another temporary vehicle. When the repairs were completed, I then received a final estimate that was around $2600 which was considerably more than initially anticipated, again because Michelle neglected to tell me that the initial verbal estimate did not include labor costs. My family and I have been dealing with Kuhio Motors for years now and have never had an issue with the Chevy service center and it concerns me that I now have a trust issue with the Nissan service center. I hope these concerns are addressed with Michelle and things get fixed.

I was told - and my written estimate showed - that I needed to change my cabin filter - and I literally changed it 8 days before bringing the car in. Clearly the mechanic did even "not" look at the filter and just automatically put in for that to happen - so I would end up paying over $80 for a service that I did not need. Seems fraudulent at best. Will never want take my car into an establishment that upsells services that are not needed and that the mechanic did not even look at - because if he did he would have seen the new filter. So disappointed that I could not wait to tell everyone in my office of what happened.
