The car we rented was cost effective, convenient, down the block from the ship, rode well, was comfortable, nice looking, and included all accessories requested. Easy to contact and get timely response to our questions. Herman was great to work with!

We are so happy with our rental car experience. Our car had no problems and was clean and ready to go for us as soon as we landed. We traveled a lot on the roads in Kauai and I’m happy that we rented from Herman. Prices were incredibly reasonable even as a young driver. It’s also nice to not have one of the hundreds of generic rental cars you’ll see driving around Kauai. 10/10

I have rented from them 2 years in a row and will be doing so again, in the future. Skip the lines at the airport and take the shuttle down the street where your car is awaiting you. No other way to rent a car in Kauai!

After reading tons of reviews and looking at tutu, I stumbled upon Laurie from Kauai Coconut Coast Car Rental in a Facebook group, and arranged a rental car.
Herman, owner at Coconut Coast Car rental, immediately made me feel at ease! He called me and emailed me to confirm my rental, and explained the process and how to schedule my airport pick up shuttle. He even called to double check I had my pick up and return trips scheduled. The car was clean, full of gas, and super affordable.
From the time I landed to being at my rental was less than 20 minutes, no joke.
I feel like I stumbled across the best kept secret in Kauai! Thank you Herman!
