We stopped by here on a Sunday before going on a hike. They had a ton of prepared meals including hot and refrigerated items. We picked up some spam musubi, guava manju among other things. If you are on a budget, this is the place to get ready made food. If you like sweets, definitely get the manju. They are delectable pastry bites with fillings such as original, apple and guava. This 7 eleven reminds me of the ones in Japan with all the prepared food. The 7 elevens on the main land don’t even come close. A must stop when in Kauai.

Great pastries pizza was decent. This is a clean store worth stopping for homemade food and snacks.

Zero stars if I could. My partner and I went here twice. Today, my partner went in to grab some water bottles/drinks at this location since we are visiting the island for my birthday-- and one of the women at the cash register was extremely rude and racist towards my partner. All he did was ask for a plastic bag instead of a paper bag because the day before when we came here, she overstuffed the paper bag with the items we bought & it tore and everything fell out before we even got to our hotel. When my partner politely asked for a plastic bag instead today, he was met with an attitude from this woman who said "you should have brought your own bag" and when he asked her to explain the expectation of store policies if it was required to bring your own grocery bag, she said "it seems demanding". He said "I just asked a question, I didn't demand anything." And right after, this woman said "it's just people like you that ask." He then asked her to clarify what she meant because she insinuated a racist undertone (he is African american). She then ignored his question and slammed the items we bought on the counter during checkout, he asked her "are you upset?" And she said "ill be okay". He apologized for if he angered her in any way by asking for a plastic bag and he paid for our things and said to her " I hope you have a good day." She then said to him with an attitude "just leave, you made my day." This woman had absolutely no manners and was extremely rude for no reason when just asked a reasonable question about bags.. last time we came in, she was giving us both dirty looks and attitude as well assuming it's because we are an interracial couple (im filipino). horrible customer service. I hope she gets fired because treating POC like this is unacceptable.

If you’re looking for omiyage from Kauai, make sure to stop at the Lawai 7-Eleven for some ono manju. They use the old Matsuura store recipe. Other flavors include apple, blueberry and coconut.

Very rude worker at Lawai 7-11! The employee Mary was extremely rude when I went into the store to return a couple expired drinks that we didn’t notice when we bought it, I asked if I could get a refund and she grabbed the drinks and then put them back down and said “can you come back tomorrow cuz we not authorized to do this” I said I’m sorry I can’t come I live in Lihue and she said well I’m sorry I cannot do nothing. What in the hell??!!!! I asked if she could contact a manager and she said “I don’t know her number” So crazy!!! Not even trying to make it right but tells me too bad! Wow I was floored! No wonder Longs Drugs let her go!

Amazing people, I go here almost everyday and every person I’ve dealt with has amazing uplifting, make your day type of positivity. It really radiates off of them. Selection is great, food is always really good.

Usually has what I’m looking for or craving. Chrissy in particular was super friendly and helpful. It was my first time trying the slushees and I had a couple mishaps but she walked me through them while staying patient and kind.
