Cost a fortune but worth every penny! Excellent (but painfully slow at times) service. The whole "island time" thing is true here. They do take their time but they get it right. Very kind and welcoming, all smiles.
Rooms were stunning but don't waste any money on the partial ocean view. You have to contort your body over the railing to see the ocean. The bathrooms are HUGE! The rooms are so artfully done with layers of neutral textures. Has somewhat of an African vibe.
The art throughout the resort is stunning. It's like visiting a gallery even just in the lobby bathrooms.
Very quiet and the pool area is the most gorgeous pool area ever. So lush and it smells amazing. Walking through it felt so dense with vegetation that it reminded a bit of Costa Rica. This was my favorite part of the resort aside from the amazing art collection they have.
The restaurants were really good! Lobster toast for breakfast each day was my favorite meal.
The bed was soooo comfy! We bought the bedding we returned home.
Nice giftshops with a lovely collection of high end clothing, vintage restored Chanel bags, Hawaiian made jewelry, and other great goodies.
The beach is a bit overrated IMO. Lanai is quite dry so to the right the view is brown. Not even in the top 20 beaches I've been to. But it was relaxing and I took a nap. Saw some dolphins which was very cool and we appreciated that the towel guy pointed this out to us.
We chatted a bit with the man who takes care of the birds on site and he was so kind, genuine, and really welcoming. He told us interesting things about the birds and I really enjoyed chatting with him. He really went out of his way to make us feel welcome.
We enjoyed the game room but it does have an unsafe open railing that is not safe for children (this is the same type of window setup that led to Eric Clapton's son dying). It's next to the shuffle boards. Keep a close on your little ones if you explore this area as it is very easy to fall through to the concrete mechanical area below. The railing they have added will only stop an older child from falling and is not going to stop a younger child from falling through. I took one star off for this safety issue and for calling our room a partial ocean view and no ice in our drinks by the pool. Everything else was lovely. We would definitely return.

We did not stay here, but we did do an excursion with another Company. Since the Resort is really the only possible Good food in that close proximity we were hoping to get a nice meal. After being dropped off by the local tour guide, who thought the full service restaurant at the resort supported everyone, we found that the Malibu Farm only Caters to hotel guests. When we went there to grab a nice meal, the hostess asked if we were hotel guest, and being honest we said no, they then rejected our request to eat. The restaurant had only 2 tables occupied at that time, so it seems this Resort only Caters to the Guests and Not the Public! This is a shame because being a person on vacation in Hawaii, a $200 lunch is expected. Their Loss, my savings.
So if your on Lanai for the day, stay far away from the 4 Seasons Resort for Food if you are Not a Guest there.
I've always loved the quality of food and Chef outputs, but it seems the Four Seasons on Lanai, that is Not the case.

The grounds are breathtaking and rival any botanical garden, and the rooms are beautifully designed with just enough of a modern look without being stuffy. What really makes this place five stars is the staff. Big shout out to Jinny who was exceptionally helpful when our itinerary needed to pivot in response to a tropical storm. This was our second time staying at this property, and will certainly not be our last!

I must admit that I am extremely disappointed and upset. I initially had high hopes and excitement about coming to the hotel for our honeymoon from abroad. On August 6th, around 10 a.m. Hawaii time, I called to make a reservation. However, the woman who answered the phone had a demeanor that I felt was far from satisfactory. Her attitude seemed unfriendly and impolite, and she claimed not to understand my word. Even after providing my credit card number and completing the reservation, I still had additional questions. Before I could finish speaking, she abruptly hung up the phone. I have to say this has been a significant blow to my experience and has left me very distressed. Despite not having even stayed at the hotel yet, my impression has already been extremely negative.

Tough to briefly describe how good this place is. A few misc highlights. During two five-night trips, the resort never felt busy. Also the landscaping is truly insane, everywhere. Biodiversity is a critical part of the resort aesthetic and it’s well-maintained without feeling artificial. The architecture is idyllic, the place is massive, and it’s so well-designed that every corner of the resort feels special. There are minimum two dozen spots across the property with comfy chairs that have probably never been used where you could sit and take in the scenery for hours. As many others have said, the staff consistently goes above and beyond, the rooms are gorgeous, the pools are sick and the location is perfect.

Everyone was so friendly and attentive from the front desk to the restaurants. Even the cabana boys handing out snorkel gear were upbeat and helpful. I never felt lacking and I was traveling solo

Truly a must-visit for anyone looking for a combination of relaxation and recovery. Nothing is spared in terms of the room and grounds experience, the most beuatiful gardens I have ever seen. My artner and I loved the golf and particulalry the service provide by Edwardo in the wellness pacakge. We are in branding and are surprised they do not prmote how capable their professionals on staff are. Edwardo should be in LA teaching celebrities but when you come here you recevie some of the best training treatments I hae ever seen. He is a gem and the other staff who help with the the Sensei packages are top. We will be back.

Lanai is simply the most stunning beach resort in America. With its breathtaking views of Manele Bay and the Pacific Ocean, it truly feels like paradise on earth. Every aspect of this property is perfect, from the gorgeous scenery to the luxurious amenities. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. Lanai has truly captured my heart.

Best Fourseasons that we've been to so far! It has the absolute best layout, and we got really lucky the time we were there, no people, haha. From the amazing views to the amazing food, we could not have asked for a better vacation. We hope to return some again in the future.
