Great hotel. We stayed here for 5 days and loved our time here. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly, always smiling and always said hello. Rooms were clean, the pool was nice and a decent size. We watched live music at night outside. It was very relaxing. We loved our stay here.Nearby activities: Lots of beaches for swimming and snorkelling across the road.Noteworthy details: Go visit the Polynesian Cultural Centre next door. Well worth it.

Overall it was good. (Perhaps because we had just come from Hilton Hawaii Village in Waikiki makes it not a fair comparison). The hotel was a basic hotel. The pool area is fantastic though and we were super impressed with the cabanas, the live music and the classes they put on. Super cute. The majority of the staff were absolutely wonderful. There’s not much in the area but we came from Waikiki to explore the north shore so hopping on a bus wasn’t an issue.I will say (as constructively as possible) that the consensus in our group of 10 (and amongst most people that we met there) is that the towel system and people who work at the pool are way too serious and need to chill. We are on vacation and getting scolded or a finger waved at us for having more than 6 people in a hot tub (that could hold 20) or being reminded that we owe $25 if we lose their towels doesn’t really go with the whole Hawaii vacation chill vibe. Calm down on the pool rules a bit and the experience would be much better for your guests. Otherwise, thank you for a great stay!

More enforcement with toddlers around the pool and hot tub areas, twice we encountered pieces of diaper in both pools, this obviously would not occur if parents had a brain, using swim diapers in the cold pool and monitoring their children’s bathroom needs, but most upsetting of all is toddlers in the hot pool.We felt dirty and went to shower and wash our swim wear.Walkability: Close to every thing

Very clean, updated, beautiful rooms. Friendly service from all employees. We received a box of Mauna Loa Macadamia Chocolates upon check in! Directly accross from Beach Access. Nice pool with cute waterfall. Family friendly. Walking distance to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Our go-to since they opened. We've been having staycations here for years. And now that we're on the mainland we always stay here when we come back to visit. Be sure to do a class with aunty Kela! The pool is very kid friendly. The rooms are clean. The location is great for all things north shore.

Alot of people come to hawaii to relax, the people/staff were all friendly, the rooms/facilities were nice, and wascureently being remodled ,but you can't even have a drink by the pool. People come to hawaii to relax have a drink by the pool and watch the sunsets. You can do that in vegas ans well as florida, heck even turtle bay. Also you have to pay for parking which stops no one from getting into your car. You also pay extra 10 dollars for the weekend, as well as pay 4.95 for wifi. I mean come on, you're already paying 300 to 400a night for the room do you really need to nickel and dime your guests to death.? The breakfast left little to be desired as well. Part of the reason I won't be returning to hawaii anytime soonRooms: Very clean, showers were niceFood & drinks: Food was okay, can't drink outside your room

This place is over priced. It’s worth about half of what they are charging. It’s all under construction, I paid $20 to park. Service in the restaurant was poor and under construction. I’ve stayed at Super 8’s that are just as nice for one fourth the price.

Price-performance is not right at all.Don't let the Marriott brand blind you. This has nothing to do with a Marriott Hotel!

Lovely hotel, should definitely be more than 3 star. Clean, great staff, awesome pool area (pool is heated). Big, comfortable bed. They give you face masks and makeup remover wipes!!Only things losing points are the lack of soundproofing of the rooms (we got a delightful wakeup call from a loud child in the hallway at 6:30am, and the renovations happening in some of the rooms) and the shower - looks like they didn't bother replacing during reno which is a shame as it looks yuck despite being clean. Also (our fault) we didn't realise Laie is a 'dry' area and therefore no alcohol at the hotel or nearby at all. Would have loved a margarita by the pool!Noteworthy details: No alcohol at all in Laie area so don't expect poolside cocktails. At the moment (March 2024) they have renovations happening in the rooms and the restaurant. The restaurant is still open but outdoors.

This place is a mess. Ice machine broken. Chargers don't work. Under construction. "Alcohol Free" apparently due to the Mormon take over in this area. They charge for surface lot parking - it's a Courtyard with parking spaces. I've never paid for parking at a Courtyard. Weird sign-in, wristband process just to use the pool. Asked for 3pm check-in on the app. Room not ready. Asked for mobile key. Never got one. It's just an outdated, broken property with dumb policies.

The hotel is nice and in a great location. The north shore was our favorite area we stayed at on vacation. The parking was cheap and affordable at the hotel which is a huge bonus. There was lots of great food options around the hotel. There is a bunch of beaches around the hotel that were just a quick drive.

Courtyard was a great hotel in Laie, quiet area but wholesome as well. Spacious room, great pool, gym and customer service was great. Right next to the Polynesian Culture Centre and right across the road from the Laie beach which was perfect for morning or evening swim to watch the sunset. It was great we had a rental car to be able to drive and explore the north shore.
