《count your money before depositing》《avoid scams》This incident had been on my mind for decades and now I decided to let it out.I’m just gonna narrate what happened.September of 2009, I arrived Laie ready for school, brought 4500 dollars cash ready for deposit, gave the money to a rather good looking local female worker, she put all the money one by one on the table telling me it was 4000 and counted in my face, well maybe it was my mistake I thought to myself. I went back to dorm and waited for my parents to wake up and called them, my mom said there was 4500. So I went back to the bank thinking maybe I could get some help or check the cameras. I talked to the same lady, I remember every word she said till this day, “I’m gonna count from my drawer, if anything extra comes up it’s yours.”Guess what happened, she counted 500 dollars extra and gave them back to me.Sorry for the one star, I just want more people especially new international students to see this and avoid being ripped off on the first day of your school.I regretted for a hundred times that I didn’t make a huge scene right there right then, maybe I was too young and had a warm and positive heart toward anything that’s on the church’s land.I hope she’s already gone, and nobody was or is ever going to encounter this.

Terrible customer service when I tried to speak with a local operator regarding a concern, would not even help you out and charged my account $5.00 consistently for returned mail fees.

7 years back came straight from the Island attend BYU_Hawaii try to open a bank account but did not know the difference between credit and saving accounts. The bank new that I was new student and gave me a SAVING account. They know very well that I don't need a saving account but still did it so they can get set me up with Fees every time I take money out. This Bank probably making lots of money from BYU-Hawaii kids from the ISLANDS FOB by signing them up on SAVING rather than Debits. I hope they get audited to make sure they not screwing the students from the Islands that don't know bank accounts. I hope if you are doing it needs to stop because Karma will get you. I'll try to take it up to corporate so these branch will be audited.

The worst manager I have never seen!!! My friend has been charged over 200$ for some stupid transfer fee with any notice. Today we went to there want to ask why? The manager said she is not responsible for the refund. The few months before one of the banker told my friend that the bank wouldn't charge the fee. But they actually charged! The ASB didn't even sent any email or any notice!!!! Now they said they have no responsibility for that!!! What the great manager in your bank!!!!
