We spent several hundred dollars for bathing suits and they $90 each and only after 3 wears one got all snagged on the butt so I took them back and they refused to exchange or return because we couldn't find our receipt! I asked them to check their system and they wouldn't! We will not be shopping there again or recommending them

I went to the Rip Curl in Whaler's Village (Lahaina/Kaanapali). I normally don't write reviews but Zach went above and beyond to help us out with our clothing choices. Zach was helpful, gave great suggestions, was courteous, and gave honest feedback. It was like have an expert personal shopper! He did an awesome job and I can't say enough good things about him. I hope everyone gets to experience his great customer service like I have. You rock, Zach! I will definitely be back.

Had a great experience at Rip Curl. Store staff were friendly and made to sure to point out a sale that was going on, made a special effort to show me additional sizes/styles available. Got a really nice rash guard for a great price, would return again!

2nd RipCurl store I've tried shop at in Hawaii and they've both been closed before closing time. 6:52pm and it's locked up and the guy is sitting at the cash wrap and won't look up.

Article acheté à Paris à l occasion d'une visite in remboursable, avoir inutilisables mais où sont les magasins en France où on peut utiliser l'avoir. não recomendaria nem se fosse de graça! pois o atendimento de reclamações e de serviços deles são os piores possível!! paguei por serviço rápido e seguro, no entanto já faz 4 dias que estou esperando pelo que paguei pra chegar em um dia útil!! decepção e pouco.

I received an order I placed and it arrived completely torn open and placed in a clear Fedex bag. I was supposed to receive two items but only received one. I assume one was lost in transit but the original packaging was pretty small and I don’t think 2 items were sent to begin with but I was charged for both. I tried calling rip curl over a week ago and didn’t get an answer so I emailed 3 separate times and messaged them on Instagram and have yet to get any response. Now I am without an item and it seems I won’t be getting a response.

Incredibly rude customer service, inflated prices, and unwilling to refund a defective product. There are several other much better surf stores. Avoid this one at all costs.

The worst customer service is the Rip Curl store at Whaler Village Shop in Maui HA. Specifically the store manager there either is not familiar with store policy after over a year working there or she just have the worst customer service and does not deserve to work there. I purchased a board short on Dec 23, 2020 at full price. 2 days after entire store is discounted 40% off. I purchased more shorts and tee at the Paia Rip Curl store and the sales lady there told me to bring back receipt to store for price adjustment since I only purchased original short 2 days prior. Since I bought the swim trunk at the Wailer Village Rip Curl location, I went back there 2 days in a row and store for some reason was closed. Finally on Dec 29, 2020, I went into store and to purchase more swimwear and at the same time ask for price adjustment.... the store manager (think her name is Miley) refused to do the price adjust and threaten to call security if I don't accept their store policy! Afterward, I noticed the sales receipt clearly state 'Rip Curl offer price adjustment within 14 days....' Clearly the store Manager either is not familiar with store policy or just trying to pull a fast one. Either way she is NOT fit to work in any job that requires working with customer. Please be certain I will file a formal complaint to Rip Curl Corporate office about this experience and about this incompetent sales manger at Whaler Village store.

My husband and I bought a tshirt and sticker early this week in the store and I left my straw hat there when I was trying a sweatshirt on. I called the next day to see if it had been turned in and the employee said that a hat had been found and she would call me back. I never heard from them and called back several times and then they claimed they didn't know where my hat was. If you see an employee there wearing a cute sun hat you know it is mine.

On vacation in Maui, I needed a new bathing suit so my husband and I stopped in Rip Curl. I found great suits but when I inquired about different fits from sales staff, she rudely stated that all the styles I was looking for was already out. When I was ready for a dressing room, I asked, and without saying a word, she walked over and unlocked it. I just kind of awkwardly followed...assuming she heard me. There were several other rude encounters but I kept telling myself, "she's having a bad day, maybe her uncle just died" and was trying to be warm and kind in turn. Thankfully my husband was willing to grab other sizes for me so I didn't have to keep bothering her on such a bad day! But at check out, she said nothing to me, just started ringing up my items. Then the phone rang and she all of a sudden turned into a very friendly person, gossiping on the phone with gusto. So maybe my "uncle is dead" theory was off and she was just rude. When answering the phone, I believe she said her name was Deja but I wasn't sure. So since I was being ignored, I started looking at items nearby and my husband came by and remarked how rude she was and pointed out that a clothing item I was to purchase has dropped on the floor. This was frustrating--it had happened while I was looking at something else and then she expected me to pick it up? Anyway, we paid our couple hundred dollars and got out of that negative environment. I would have made my purchase elsewhere had I not needed that bathing suit. I am so excited to return to Maui but will never return to this store, despite loving everything I purchased (including the garment that was discarded to the floor!). My thoughts were validated when even my easy going, tough skinned husband remarked on her rudeness. Hope life gets better for you, Deja! (But also, you live in Maui! It's a happy place! You're so lucky!)
