Terrible front desk management service. We have an 1130 airport shuttle so I asked for an extended checkout to 1130. They refused because they need 2hours to turn the room for a 4pm check-in…. ??? They need 4.5 hours to do a 2 hour clean and turn?!? I was simply asking for 90 extra minutes which would leave them with plenty of time. Next time we will book somewhere else.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Housekeeping was amazing - Annie was helpful, and kept the place nice and clean. She was great and made our stay worth it!

You can walk right to the beach by just going down the stairs or elavator and theres a lot of places for food nearby, wifi is free, service is pretty fast view is absolutely beautiful, the pools are nice and you can go to a gym and get free drink on the bottom floor. Our room was not the biggest but the sofa could turn into a bed.
Walkability: Walking down to the beach or pools are so easy after you go down the stairs or elavator you comr to the pool and a bit more walking to get to the beach and the beach has showers to take sand of yourself
Food & drinks: Food is pretty good like the burgers and chicken strips and fries and some other stuff. Some drinks are free but some you have to buy. The free drinks are like water and orange juice but the orange juice does not taste like fresh squeezed.

The rooms are average at best. Stayed in both Lahaina & Napili towers. Views were great from both rooms. Service is really hit or miss. If this was the first property you've ever stayed at, you might be impressed. If you have been to a few resorts in Maui, then you'll understand the difference. The food is honestly some of the worst we've had anywhere. $20.00 for a cold stale hotdog and cold dry fries.....the on-site restaurant was not desirable either.
The main pool is the best thing about this property. They have some great activities daily for the kids. I'm glad we stayed here because we've seen it so many times when we're in Whalers Village. With all that being said, it's not a place we'd likely return to.
Walkability: 10 minute walk to Whalers Village

Three pool sections; main w/bar, North w/bar, and South w/o bar, unless you consider the restaurant bar apart of the South pool, NONE of the pools are adult only, I hope you enjoy screaming non-behaved children literally EVERYWHERE, this place is ‘family friendly’, not ‘adult friendly’. The main building is severely outdated, peeling wallpaper, standing water everywhere post-rain storms, AC struggles to keep the room 65°, so if you prefer the 1980’s Astroglide vibe, buy a timeshare here, lol…

Amazing views from our oceanfront room. The pool system here is as good as anywhere we’ve been. Love the whole place!
Walkability: Can walk to the other resorts and many restaurants

Been lucky to have stayed here for 13 years. Love everything about the location and pools. Rooms are showing some wear and tear but heard major projects are on the way.
Is it worthy of time share fees? Less so with all the increases and considering Airbnb and other options these days.

My family stayed for one week. It was our first time to Maui. I was really nervous to go after the August 2023 fire. I didn't want to upset people who had lost everything and been so devistaed. The thing is this island like all of Hawaii relys on tourism. We vacationers are needed to support the local economy. Now about the resort: we are not experienced resort goers, and found everything to be great! Kids (ages 9&11) loved the pools (technically 3) but the kids say it's actually 8 pools and 4 hot tubs! There is also a kiddie play area with a pirate ship and splash pad. Our first stop was the concierge who set us up with a helicopter tour (air maui) of the island AND an amazing snorkeling boat tour (Teralani) where we swam with turtles and saw many whales! (That was a bonus it was not a whale tour). She also recommended snorkel Bob's for prescription snorkeling masks (yes they exist!). Hawaii is paradise, and Maui needs visitors. We stayed on the Westside and saw the Lihana damage from the road, but there is a WHOLE island to visit and see. Oh! We also did half of the road to Hana (thanks again to the concierge) and it was just right for our energy level that day. The resort staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is good and has a good variety. We had a room with a kitchen and separate sleeping area for the adults. It could not have been better. My kids LOVED the games like corn hole and ping pong. We highly recommend the island and resort.

Beautiful property. Several good snack bars and restaurants. Not crowded. Many, many whales in Jan thru mid March. Great walk along the ocean.
Rooms: Always first rate. Kitchen living/dining room, bedrooms. Master bedroom has two vanities, separate room for one of the vanities plus shower and toilet. Easy walk to many beach front restaurants, or Whalers Village shopping.
