I will never go back!!!!!!!!!! I picked a color, nail artist started doing one hand. I stated it was not the color that I picked. She said she liked the one better and continued. I Stated that’s not the one I picked. I picked something because it’s my anniversary wanted to match my shoes. She then got another color off the wall that was not even the color I asked for and said how about this one I just said no just finish. Also got my face threaded. As she was threatening my face towards the end, she started to use a Razor. I said no I didn’t want a Razor. She still tried to continue. I paid I shouldn’t have. All the way around horrible both services I asked for I got a half done job and nothing that I asked. I suggest you don’t go to this shop!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should have read the reviews before coming. This was perhaps the worst nail experiences I’ve had in my life. I’ve never tipped below 30% for nails and I was so close to tipping 0 but left 10% because the massage was ok. I got the “deluxe pedicure”
- the place itself and the tools, towels, etc were filthy
- she barely lightly brushed the scrubber around my feet one time. I still walked out of there with dry skin and calluses. That’s the only reason I go to get a pedicure. It was so terrible I swear I thought it was a joke or she was just warming up the tools for someone else to come and do it but NOPE that was it
- the mask, scrub, and whatever else it came with I don’t even remember because it was haphazardly thrown on to my legs and brushed off in 5 seconds
- she did the massage with gloves on… but then painted my toes without gloves?
- they used the electronic tool to remove my gel nail polish and essentially removed my entire fingernail beds- it hurts when I press them they are so thin now

My husband and I had a 10:00 appointment for one manicure and two pedicures. They started my husbands pedi right away. I waited for 30 min to get my manicure. After Thuy (Kathy) was finished she just got up and said all finished and went about doing other things. Never told me to go sit in a chair to start my pedicure. Two more appointments walked in and they were sat and started right away. My manicure felt rushed and has visible mistakes. Upon checking out Thuy said to me “looks great” because she could see me inspecting my nails. I said no it doesn’t. She then just sat down and started someone else’s pedicure. I could have spoke up and stated I was supposed to get a pedicure however we had additional appointments to get to and there wouldn’t have been time.

The ladies at Happy nails did a wonderful job on our 2 pedicures. The salon was clean and they were able to get us in within 1 hr of me calling on a Sunday. I actually picked a color that was much more green once on my toe and they happily picked up 5 additional polishes to help me find one that was more blue. I will definitely come back when in Kaanapali.

I was visiting Maui and had a nail lift. I went to Happy Nails because it had the best reviews of nail places that were close to my resort. My complaint includes a dirty drill bit, chipping and lifting. I left satisfied, but the nail tips were so thin that I immediately experienced chipping. What made me decide to leave the warning review to others is that I went back to ask them to fix it (not an easy task when you’re on vacation) and even though it seemed to me that they had capacity to take a client, when I asked for it to be fixed, they asked me to come back in an hour. I decided to just take my chances with the tiny nail file in my hotel room.
