Great resort, excellent staff (except for cranky person overnight..lol) daytime staff (woman) at front desk and young man and Sam, the bell person, were amazing...extremely helpful and friendly!Rooms: Spacious roomsNearby activities: Food trucks very close, shopping center across street. Fantastic fun restaurant Slappy Cakes is a must.. grill your own pancakes. So much fun! Java Jazz great restaurant in the plaza also.

My favorite maui hotel. i travel for work between all islands. I dont get to stay here as often as i would like. But friendly staff that remember me by name, clean rooms with full kitchen(with washer and dryer, a huge bonus for me). Awesome pools 2 hot tubs. Lots of onsite games/activities, resturant has delicious food and overlooks the ocean(dec-begining of april you can see humpback off the shore.

Overall, can't beat the location. Got this on a package deal, not the best views, and the room is a little outdated. But hey, we're here in Maui, so just got kick back and enjoy what we have!!!

For the price this was a great deal. The room was large and clean. Nice balcony. We didn’t have a direct view of the ocean, but for the price could not believe we had a view. We only stayed one night and had a nice drink at the ocean front bar. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because the room was dated. I would stay there again.

Rooms are a bit worn but overall clean and functional. Pool was nice as was the location. Would stay here again.

The room was very large, but many of the light switches did nothing, hallways need maintenance very gloom and dirty feeling. Great location, could do without the live music blasting into my room every night.

This place has beautiful views, nice sandy beach, awesome pool and garden area! It is close (2 min walk) to a full service grocery store and lots of little shops. Great place for families!Walkability: Two minute walk to a grocery store with pharmacy and a 10 minute walk to a farmers market grocery store full of local products and produce.

This was our first stay at Aston Ka’anapali Shores. From all practical purposes this was an excellent location. Yes, the rooms are somewhat dated but they offer almost everything you need. Full kitchen with stove, large microwave and fridge. Spacious. A separate sitting area with dining tables, sofas and TV. Great view of the ocean if you booked an ocean view. We could literally see whales jumping around in the ocean.

For the price this place was lovely. We had such a great time and we loved having the restaurant on site. It was super convenient. The prices were good and the food was better than most restaurants in Maui. The pools and ocean look way better in person than they do on the website. We were pleasantly surprised.Yes, some of the rooms are dated, but we didn’t mind it.

Beautiful view, very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are fully equipped with kitchen, washer dryer, and dish washer.Walkability: Everything is within walking distance of the hotel.
