“I recently snagged an Ashley sofa set from Rent-A-Center, and let me tell you, I'm over the moon! The staff were not only helpful but practically mind readers, guiding me through their fabulous collection with ease. The assistant manager, Serena, was so friendly, I half-expected to find cookies and milk waiting for me. It felt more like visiting a buddy's pad than a store.
This sofa set is the bee's knees—durable, comfy, and stylish. It's like it was tailor-made for my living room. Delivery was a breeze, and the setup team worked so fast, I wondered if they had capes hidden under their uniforms.
The best part? The flexible payment options and the ridiculously easy same-as-cash agreements. I'll definitely be back, not just for the top-notch furniture, but for the warm, welcoming vibes!! Rent-A-Center, you’ve turned my house into a home. Bravo!”
“The 2 women working there were great. Made for a mostly painless process to rent to own a couch. They were both very knowledgeable and tried to get me thru the paperwork as quickly as possible. Only problem they seemed to have was their computers seemed to keep freezing up and running extra slow which kind of made the process a bit more difficult then it needed to be. And you guys only had one small couch that could be sold by itself. Wanted a love seat but for some reason I can’t just buy a loveseat, had to buy the couch that matched it, and I’m not looking to buy both. Luckily she had the one small couch that she was able to offer to sell to me.”

391 Makaala St, Hilo“What can I say? I just love target in general. You can come here with needing only one item and yet you managed to find 10 or 20 items that you never knew that you needed. There's selection of things are much better quality I feel than other places that are comparable to target. The prices here are great, especially being that you can price match their own prices online. The store is always clean and the staff is always professional and I am a lifelong customer. The only thing that I wish remained the same was the Pizza Hut near the entrance. Unfortunately no it is self serve on the pizzas are just not the same.”

83 Kaumana Dr, Hilo“If you've been to one 7-11, basically you've seen them all. They are all set up the same way with the same products. This, of course, is by design. The only difference I've experienced is with the employees. Different personalities and level of service. I've always gotten excellent service, never had any problems, and they always thank me for my business”
“I had previously been a loyal customer of Island Cellular Repair on Kino'ole Street in Hilo ANDthey DID NOT assist me today. On the other hand the Cricket Retail Store specifically Kefneth and Lee went WAY ABOVE the call of duty and helped me with a completely dead Android phone. They should receive 10 stars because if your phone dies it's like your Right Arm is cut off.,. Thank you Gentlemen... You have made not only my day ... But my WHOLE WEEK..... most HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!I DID return and did NOT see Kefneth BUT I did see Lee. This time all I had to do was put in the number I got from Monica... Who was IMPOSSIBLE to understand and obviously was in Manilla or somewhere in the Philippines because Cricket had me on Auto Pay using one of my Credit Cards. Kind of Defeats the purpose of saving $5.00 doesn't it when you add on the interest charged....She then apologized for being hard to understand and sent me a text regarding what I had to do to get on the government program as I was mostly, during my working career, am "Independent Contractor" which means I didn't sit around eating Chocolate Bon Bons and watchingTV, it meant I paid a LOT of money in excise tax and what is called an Independent Contractor and was only an "Employee" putting INTO Social security..... when I managed a small Air Tour Company at the Kona Airport. I DID go in and was happy to see Lee. There was a long line and people were waiting literally for hours ( I waited 2 Hours ) and the 2 people ahead of me had very complicated transactions. I could have EASILY slipped in ... during the other transactions as Lee was talking about news, weather, and sports with the man ahead of me.He then had a HISSY FIT on me and said I was just "trying to throw back my 5 star rating at him"Obviously that was not my intent, and LEE I am NOT CHANGING MY RATING so you can calm the "F"down.... I am INCENSED...A N D. I am NOT Changimg my original ratingGet some Customer Service trainingYou NEED. ITAnd HOW did you get my Maiden Name..... Are you Stalking me???!”

74 W Kawili St, Hilo“Part of the tourist experience if you hail from the Midwest is visiting a local 7-11. For those of you who are local, 7-11s in the American Midwest ( between the East and West Coast, the Great Plains, the Great Lakes, big post-industrial cities and disappearing farmland) where 7-11s are place of horrendous coffee, insulting service, dirty public restrooms, and botulism. But 7-11s in Hawai'i have fresh coffee, friendly service, and awesome local taste snack foods. Some of the best Spam Musubi is found in Hawai'ian 7-Elevens. It's like they are not even the same corporation. Still open all the time. Instead of the "I'll help who's next in line," and "have a nice rest of your day," the woman working here actually talked to me like I'm a human being albeit in local Pidgin (which made it seem even friendlier). Mahalo!”

15-2714 Pahoa Village Rd, Pāhoa“These days, a cellphone bill can easily look like a car payment. As a former T-Moble, Sprint, & AT&T client, I've explored and surfed the digital waves all for a hefty monthly price. Luckily, I was up for a game of Cricket (cricketwireless.com) & tempted by their family plan offer, saving me close to 50% off my monthly service bill. My only concern was, switching over and dealing with all that "techie" stuff. I had two Cricket sales associates help me throughout my process. The first one educated me on everything I needed to get ready for the switch and when I went back a week later, another sales associate was able to quickly transfers my phone lines. She was impressed that I was prepared and I humbly told her because I was educated by her sales team member. We shared a few laughs while she reassured me that everything would flow seamlessly. After all was said and done, I felt I made a new friend. I was told that Cricket is under the AT&T network umbrella, which eased another layer of concern about the service. I must say, for the price and service I got a super deal and became a Cricketer! Oh, little did I know that there is an amazing artist that works at this location and you can admire some of the work on their walls. Sebastian once said, "We got no troubles. Life is the bubbles, under the sea." mahalo Vee”

1321 Kilauea Ave, Hilo“They have a new tuna mayo inari/cone sushi 3 pack for under $4. Was surprised it was canned tuna and not like the spicy version which used fresh (raw) ahi poke. Still was decent like eating a tuna sandwich with sushi rice and inari. Coffee here is a much better deal than Starbucks.”

895 Kinoole St, Hilo“I was kind of bummed that we only saw one 711 while visiting the Big Island. I get so excited to come here for their snacks because a bunch of the restaurants that I booked marked while visiting are either not open on Sundays, Mondays or even Tuesdays or everything closes super early!!! I wish we had these options back home in LA”

“Intrigue is nonsense: palatable necessity for linguists' sensation! Be a Google guide, nonchalantly peruse a city block of merchants' ideals, while your hair courses in the wind. Mobile, even, still: never! Always a tool to improve the environment that our government did not see. Hey, you two, let's be three? Me, one and none I am person, personally. Buy a phone: I love communication, as a solo I need a knower; plain and pholo.”
“I don't really leave reviews anywhere, but Shiloh was very thorough and very helpful. We came in just for the ultra watches and I had lot of questions and he answered them all! And with all the new perks of bundling our Netflix subscriptions we had no idea we could save through Verizon. His coworkers were also friendly. We've never had this great service on Oahu so far. Thank you!”
“This was a reasonably nice location. I was pleasantly surprised that they had my Itoen green tea which was the main reason we made the stop. Oh, that and beef jerky. And they had a pretty good selection of the jerky as well; with the normal convenience store marked up prices. The line to pay was modestly long but quick. And the cashier had good customer service. Also, they had a restroom inside, which was a pleasant surprise as it's usually hit or miss at convenience stores.”
