My wife and I walked into Na Hoku just to browse and left with one of the best shopping experiences in our 30 yrs together….thanks to the most amazing sales representative… Lei!! We left with more than a purchase…..which is so very rare in todays high pressure sales environment. Thanks to Lei my wife got a beautiful ring and necklace along with a piece of Hawaiian culture! Lei, thank you so much for your care and elegance. Na Hoku leadership I can only hope you appreciate Lei as much as she deserves!

My wife and I had the pleasure of returning to this beautiful jewelry store yesterday. We were helped by the most delightful woman, Lei Aloha, who gave us a warm, lovely and spiritual Hawaiian cultural experience. The jewelry is artistically designed and well made with a lot of ocean and Hawaiian flora and beach themes. The service was exceptional and personal. We definitely felt at home here making our purchase and we would highly recommend Na Hoku jewelry. Hopefully you get the pleasure of being helped by Lei Aloha. She definitely made us feel like Ohana.

What a HORRIBLE experience! We spontaneously purchased an engagement from them in 2017. We spent $7500 on the engagement ring alone not including the bands we purchased on a later date. 2021 we took the rings to a highly recommended and trusted jeweler to get GIA certified. What we were told was disappointing and shocking. Long story short we won't waste more money to get a GIA grading on it. Also, The jeweler couldn't verify the certification, then we called IGI several times when someone finally answered they were unprofessional told us to check ourselves online. We went online to IGI.ORG to verify the certification and it WAS NOT on IGI's website. We tried 5 times. Nothing. We took the ring to a local Na Hoku and they also were NOT able to locate it. They took a photo copy of the certification and said they are working on it. And that's supposed to make it all better. That is not what I expect when I'm given a certification from a "reputable institution". They also inspected the ring for the lasered number on it to make sure it was the same one we purchased and matched the certification. They said they stand by their product and certifications. We have been in contact with corporate and although they claim to care about customer service they waste your time and tell you there is nothing they can or are willing to do for you other that reassure you the product we purchased matches the certificate ( which is nowhere to be found online just a piece of paper we are suppose trust and to hang our hat on) We purchased a ring that we were told was a certain quality and has the certification to back it up. Now we have a ring that I'm embarrassed to wear, a paper that is just that... a piece of paper that we can't verify so what's the point? They tainting the whole experience. So much more to this story but bottom line I understand we had the rings for sometime but from what I know now I feel misled and no solution other than we stand by our product. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE FROM NA HOKU. I should have known when the shop was in a lobby of a hotel and the other in a MALL. if Na Hoku responds they will say something like this: We are sorry you had such a bad experience. We stand by our products and certifications. Unfortunately, since you purchased the ring so long ago there's nothing we can do at this point. We've done everything we can to make you feel good about your purchase it's unfortunate do you feel this way because a third-party was involved We have been around for a long time a value our customers and products are of the best quality. If you have any further questions call.... What I hear : Profit has already been made from the sale and there's nothing you can do about it now. Good thing you didn't get a second opinion within our return policy ! now your stuck lol We went of our way to take a brief look at your ring and tell u it's great even though you got a second opinion and you know that it's not. But nothing matters as long as we think it's great. Too bad for you hahaha!! Next customer! I will go to a honest trustworthy company with verifiable certifications who actually care about their clients to purchase a new ring I can feel proud to wear.

Had a really enjoyable experience shopping at this Grand Hyatt location. My SO and I popped in one evening to browse the current selection, as we love to do when visiting any Hawaiian Island. We were greeted promptly and allowed to browse un-chaperoned for a few minutes, which was nice. We ended up working with Kennedy, who patiently humored me (and also my SO) trying on many pieces and trying to find accompanying jewelry for things I already own. She was fun to work with and knowledgeable about the jewelry. She picked out a couple of things that I ended up loving, which my SO & I had overlooked ourselves. Had a fun time shopping here and wish the same for future shoppers. Aloha!

This is an update to a review I wrote on 9/18/19 at which time I gave Na Hoku a 2 star rating....I have now upgraded to a 4 star rating. My original problem was with a ring I purchased the previous year. You can see the details under Frances M. dated 9/18/19. After my posting the Director of Customer Relationship Management, Heidi Gygax, reached out to me to get a better understanding of the problems I experienced. She was very professional and helpful. We settled on a mutually agreeable solution and I am extremely happy. I will be visiting the San Diego Na Hoku store to replace my former purchase in the next few months.....courtesy of Na Hoku. Thank you Heidi. Now, if some of Heidi's customer service attitude had made it's way to the Kauai store I wouldn't have made the original 2 star post :)

I am very disappointed in Na Hoku at the Hyatt. The service was not there. Kennedy did not service at all. I guess I didn't look rich enough. I am not recommending Na Hoku. I went to Maui Divers and would recommend them.

My husband and I visit Kauai every year and make an effort to stop by the Grand Hyatt Na Hoku Jewelry Store. Whether we purchase jewelry or simply browse, we have always experienced exceptional customer service. Great customer service and a wide range of style and price draws us back every year!!
