This was our favorite restaurant of our trip! Lovely atmosphere with amazing food (that was more economical than other nice but overpriced options nearby). Favorites were kale salad with baked fish and also quiche of the day. Drinks were great as well! Highly recommend!

Delicious food, great service, beautiful outdoor seating area. I love their motto, “Eat locally, know the source.” I love knowing I'm eating quality nutrients! I also love knowing I'm supporting local farmers. I would highly recommend!

What a great find! We've been coming to the Poipu area for about 20 years and are always excited to 'discover' a great new restaurant. Living Foods is a fun mash-up of a sports bar in elegant, outdoorsy surroundings with very friendly service staff and an imaginative island-sourced menu. And the drinks menu is hilarious -- and good! They seem to be making a real effort to keep prices within reach, which we appreciate is difficult on little, remote Kauai. The charcuterie board was A+ as was the po' boy, fish of the day and Thai beef salad. Hooray for Living Foods!

The place is adorable but food was rather bland. Fish Sandi could have used more seasoning. Tots were good but sauce was overpowering. Decent service. Great outside spot though. Could use a kids menu as well.

Tonight was a miss, but because of the fires, I'm sure they were very short staffed. Ordered the shrimp po boy and smash burger with a side of furikake tots. The smash burger was ok, but very dry. It needed Mayo or something. Same with the po boy. Dry and not much flavor. The pineapple slaw that came with both orders had too much red pepper flakes, so it was spicy. The tots were amazing, though! Hubs had 2 beers ($12.00 each!!) and I had a lovely glass of French rose. That was also delicious. Total bill, including 20% tip, was $97.82. We don't mind paying a lot for good food, but most of ours was disappointing.

Nice outdoor patio. Decent bar service. Unfortunately the food was hit or miss. My Greek style flatbread was good but my husband probably had the worst fish and chips ever. Think batter with overcooked fish. Fire the cook.

Waiter delivered dinner, never came back until it was time to bring the bill. Certain meals were barely touched, he didn't even ask why. Don't understand this bc breakfast here was great but dinner, no. So sad.

Food was not great. Fries completely burnt. Paid extra for truffle and parmesan, those were no where to be found. The best thing we tried was the quinoa bowl…hhhmmm

Thought the Eggs Benedict was great! Affordable but quality food in Kauai is sometimes hard to find but this place accomplished it. The brunch menu was great so the a wide variety of smoothies and healthy options.

Went here our last night and wish we had found this place a little earlier. Seems like a good option for fresh, scratch food that is reasonably priced and interesting. I'll go back here next time I'm on the island. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful too.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free GF options
Parking: Short walk from parking lot
Kid-friendliness: Kids liked the options

Very friendly staff however we had a hard time getting their attention. Also my fresh catch special - Mahi Mahi was near raw in the center. To their credit they did not charge me for it. Don't plan to revisit this one anytime soon.
