They have some very unique and affordable gifts with the Kauai vibe. Too bad they run out of common sizes quickly.

I needed closed toed shoes to go ziplining, I stopped here and found a pair for $39.The store next to it was charging $120 for similar shoes. While I was in the store I realized I cut myself surfing and the person working here gave me a bandage.I ended up wearing these shoes the rest of my trip. I hiked in them and used them to protect my feet while surfing. Money well spent! Stopping here may have saved my entire trip. They definitely showed me the Aloha Spirit.Thank you very much for providing me a bandage.

We’re walking around center. Sticky note on door said “back in 45 min” with no indication of when it was written. Looked around at other stores. Went back, still closed. Web site says closed Mon, open 9 am Tues!?

Absolutely was going to buy something until the lady working (9/18/2022) kept telling me how to shop and then asking me to calm down when I would want to pick up a shirt to see the fit! She has zero customer interaction awareness and was extremely rude to the point I walked out not wanting to buy anything from this lady!

Great shirts but the front desk lady had major attitude. When looking for the size of shirt I wanted for a specific design I was told there were no more sizes in that color and design and told "if you don't trust me don't shop with me." ....I found two piles with all possible sizes for that design and color of shirt. Will not be back.

My husband and I stopped in here yesterday (03/25/2022). I have to honestly say, the absolute best time spent there. Not so much for the items, but we met the SWEETEST lady there. She had us laughing so much. If you go, ask about Hawaii's "9th" island!! We had a blast shopping there. We had inadvertently left items there, which required another trip back. Totally worth it!! Our things had been safely tucked away and were waiting our return! I would highly recommend this place. The prices, while a bit high, were pretty much standard with other shops. We're still laughing after our visit yesterday!! Sweet Ladies, both of them. Do yourselves a favor, stop in, if only to ask about the 9th Island!! Guaranteed to bring a smile!! Mahalo for a wonderful shopping experience!!

I like the merchandise here but the associate (older woman) was not taking my many cues that I did not want her help picking anything out. I specifically said, "no thank you, I am just browsing" and that I prefer to "self-shop" to her unwanted recommendations. It was not a pleasant shopping experience.

1/2/22 at 11:30a.m. There is an old, Caucasian lady working there shouted at my husband for touching a t-shirt! We understand about staying safe due to Covid but we sanitized our hands prior to going in the store. Hand sanitizer provided in front of their store and we used it! So you would think it would be ok to shop comfortably. But I guess not! Also it wasn’t necessary to be mean and shout! She shouted for us to leave because my husband touched a t-shirt! Unbelievable!!! Honestly I don’t know what she would have done if more ppl were in the store! We were the only one there at the time, but if there were others would she have to tell us to wait one at a time for her to hold up things for the shopper if they want to look at an item! Whoever owns this store train your staff especially this worker today (1/2/22)

I had a horrid experience here! My uncle came to visit me twice while I was living on the island. During his first visit, I went to this store in Kapa'a and bought him a very nice bamboo embroidered button-down dress shirt with a bird of paradise design, his favorite flower. It was his first time returning to Hawai'i since being stationed on another island during his service in the military. Being retired he came to assist me while I went through family court proceedings with a 5 month old baby. I was working as a condo cleaner and seeing as one of his t-shirts gave him a rash, I used the hard earned cash to purchase him a thank you gift. Ahead of time, I asked if I could exchange the dress shirt in the case that it was the wrong size. The store clerk guaranteed this. This is when everything started going horribly! I returned home with the shirt and then it was too large. So, I went to the South side Poipu store to exchange. Here I was told I had to go back to the Kapa'aa east side store. So I did, and was able to exchange it for a smaller size. My uncle returned again and I was able to re-give him the shirt in the correct size. That is when he noticed a noticeable blemish on the back of the dress shirt meaning that it was damaged, even though I paid full price. We went to exchange the dress shirt together this time, for an unblemished one. The store clerk was indignant and told us she would never sell this (even though I had been sold it by them) and that we had to go back to the south side Poipu location to exchange. So, even though we were staying over an hour away from the south side store, we did just that, together. We went to the south side store and the store clerk was so mean!!! She told us to go to the east side store in Kapa'a, and I explained we had done that and we had been told to go to this store as requested of us. Then she said she would also never sell the shirt (as well) and then blamed it for my carelessness (even though I'm the buyer...), and then got angry at my Uncle and I for the pandemic which we are all enduring. I told her we are not to blame for the pandemic. The least the could have been done was a discount for the blemish. Instead I was blamed and harassed by the store, not to mention the run-arounds multiple times. Horrible! What horrid attitudes by the employees and negligence. No accountability, no respect, not professional.

This morning I visited the shop and the keeper asked if I was with my husband. I told her, no I'm with my wife. She replied "I can't wrap my head around that". Her demeanor instantly changed to cold and unfriendly. I immediately left without making my planned purchase. BEWARE THIS PLACE IS NOT WELCOMING TO LGBTQ PEOPLE. Spend your money elsewhere.
