I love the fun vibe in this shop. I can’t usually find things in my size, but I love checking out the styles, colors and seasonal pieces on display. The shop has a variety of things to check out and nearly everyone in a modern family will enjoy popping in.

10/22/22 After roaming around looking for a shop for hubby's hat at this open air mall(strip mall?), this one showed promise. At a quick glance I was doubtful he'd find it. But, alas! His first pick & he asked if I approve....yes, indeed! On the way to purchasing it, I scanned over other hats on the wall & I spied a crossover bag that screamed at me. Yessss! Finally, one that's Hawaiian inspired with a wide strap & the size I need. Score! The staff were nice & friendly with a ready smile. Now back to Lydgate to swim with my kick board. I'm set!

I was at Kukuiula shopping center Thursday night. It was 5:45 I started to go into Cruise Kauai to look at swim suits. It was supposed to be open till 6. The clerk basically shut the door in my face, locked it and turned out the lights. I wondered if she was the store owner, manager or just a worker bee. Not very customer friendly. If it says your are open till 6 then you should be open till 6. Businesses on this island are hurting. You'd think they'd be more accommodating.

Our last night in Kaua’i, and a crescendo meal for our 40th Anniversary road trip, couldn’t have been closer to a superlative with our dinner at The Lanai. My wife’s short rib and my scallops were perfectly prepared ... their Brussels Sprouts are a MUST. Oh, and by the way, Isaac was an exceptional server. I don’t expect this level of cuisine on Kaua’i ... I expect it in New York, LA, Houston, Chicago or other world class cities ... my expectations were more than exceeded!

the best mai tai on the island. great bartender, fun locals. Food is fantastic, hangar steak is bomb. def make this a stop on your vacay. lots of shopping here. good afternoon to night drinks
