“Dr. Hellsen is a wonderful holistic vet. She has helped my dog, Shaka, recover quickly from a serious health crisis. She uses acupuncture and Chinese herbs and a customized diet. Her focus is root cause resolution, working from an understanding of how to assess and strengthen and balance my dog’s constitution. Shaka has come to trust her and can relax and accept the needles. I’m very grateful to have found her, as this is how I have managed my health my whole life and it has worked very well for me. She is clearly both knowledgeable and kind and caring. Not only is Shaka back to acting like a healthy 3 year old dog, but her lab results confirm that she has responded beautifully to the treatment. My prayers were answered when I was afraid for Shaka’s life!”
