Wonderful local spot with great variety, also supporting local artists! This past week I got a new bikini (hand-made on Maui by one of the owners!), a beach/utility bag (hand-made by the same owner), some fun stickers and magnets, and some reef-safe sunscreen!

Fabulous boutique with everything you need for the beach! Great selection of swimwear, cover ups, and dresses designed by the artist owners. Also colorful, vibrant artwork available as well. Stop in and spruce up your beachwear!

Great little shop for local artistic swimming suits! The wife found one that fit her a lot better than your typical suits. Yeah, it isn't Costco pricing, but waaay worth supporting the locals. We actually just went in for her to find some earrings which she found too! Great staff and great help.When we come back to Maui, this will be on the bucket list to visit again.

You can tell that the owners put a lot of love into everything here. All inclusive sizing for their house designed swimwear will leave anyone feeling like a top model (especially on a Maui beach!). You will not find a more beautiful and unique rash guard that also helps sustain local artist culture! Truly, this place is welcoming and inclusive. There is something cool for any gender, age, or size here. Vibrant paintings and crafts are available for your home as well as a variety of wearable goods. Their mango soap is gentle on my skin and smells amazing, it makes a great gift too! Glad I was able to order some since I only get to vacation in Maui! So excited to see this place taking off, can't wait for another visit to the islands and see what pops up at the Sun Spot next! 10/10 awesome.Oh and Side note, the owner Carlos is also an amazing hairdresser, like amazing!!! Good vibes 100%

I love this place!!! Not only is everything in the store locally made, the owners donates back to the community. If you bring in school supplies for less fortunate children to the store you get a discount for your entire purchase and you are helping kids in the community through the "Tools for Schools" program! The vibe is so fun in there you just want to hang out and dance around. So many unique styles for every shape of person. I cannot recommend The Sun Spot enough. I have purchased 4 bathing suits and every time I wear them I get complimented. Love love love!!

If you love beautiful, colorful and unique wearable art, then visit this amazing boutique as I did yesterday. It was so much fun, plus I had a wonderful time chatting to delightful Carlos. I purchased a fabulous poncho, leggings and T-shirt, (and may have to go back again for more items before leaving Maui….!) Even the spacious changing room is lovely with colorful walls and art, and it feels go good to support the local artists and artisans here. Great energy and happy vibes!

I bought an artwork shirt from Carlos about 5 years ago and it is very quality material and work. This was an acrylic pour that was turned into a shirt, and it is still very brightly colored! I love the Hawaiian vibe of the shirt, but it is very far from your stereotypical Hawaiian garb. I can't wait to visit the store on vacation someday.
