My daughter and I had an amazing surf lesson with Ryan. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The pictures turned out amazing. Thank you Ryan for such a wonderful experience and memory. We can’t wait to do it again!

Ryan was our instructor for a private surf lesson for two and he was amazing! He talked briefly with us about Hawaiian culture and names before teaching us. He was so friendly and so knowledgeable. He taught us exactly what we needed to know and we headed out and my wife and I both got up the first time! The experience was amazing and would definitely recommend them and Ryan. Thanks again Ryan!

My 2 daughters took lessons two separate days with Ryan. He was an amazing instructor. The girls had the best time riding the waves with him! We will miss Maui and Ryan!

This was our second time on Maui. First time for private lessons. The difference was daylight and dark. Ryan was patient and kind with 2 15 year old girls, giggles and all. Wish we had used him when we brought our other granddaughter in 2023! Would highly recommend using these guys, especially Ryan!

It was our first time trying to surf and we were not disappointed at all! Ryan was amazing and gave us great advice on how to get up and catch our first waves. He even brought us back many times after we had taken our waves which allowed us to rest, which is truly priceless. We recommend 100% and will take a course with him again in the future if we return to Maui to improve our skills. Thanks Ryan!

Wir hatten heute unseren Surfkurs bei Ryan und sind rundum zufrieden. Nach einer kurzen Anleitung an Land ging es direkt los und nach ein paar Versuchen hatten wir schon erste Erfolge. Ryan war super freundlich und ein sehr guter Lehrer! Wir können den Kurs auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen ?

This was a wonderful experience. We had surfing lessons from Ryan. He did a great job explaining what to do and helping us along the way. It was our first time surfing and it was amazing. I would highly recommend using them when you are in Maui!

My daughters ages 19 & 17 had a semi private lesson with Ryan. This was their 3rd time taking a surf lesson. They have enjoyed them all but said Ryan was the best instructor they have had and would want to do future lessons with him. Absolutely the highlight of their trip to Maui and that is saying a lot because they have loved it all! Highly recommend!!!

Ryan was an awesome surf instructor! We had a group of 3 beginner surfers and all of us were able to get up and surf in our lesson. He was super helpful and encouraging throughout the entire time, giving more pointers along the way. I would definitely take more surf lessons from Maui Surf Lessons, and specifically from Ryan. Definitely book them if you're interested in learning to surf!

Ryan made our first time surfing experience unforgettable! The spot was perfect for catching some beginner waves and Ryan was a very patient and enthusiastic instructor. My husband and I both were able to ride quite a few waves each during our lesson and left with huge smiles!
