I've been bringing my pets to South shore Veterinary Clinic for over 13 years, and in that time, they've become like family. Each visit, they go above and beyond—not just caring for my pets' health, but also offering comfort and support during stressful times. Dr. Dressler's personal touch and genuine concern for each animal's well-being really makes all the difference. I can't imagine entrusting my fluffy family members care to anyone else. The fact that I have continued going to them for over 13 years should say it all.

I brought my cat in after she broke her leg, and we had to amputate. The team was incredibly compassionate and made the entire process much easier. Their support during recovery was great, with clear guidance and regular check-ins. Ive been going to South Shore ever since for my cats care. Highly recommended!

The entire team who works here is genuinely so caring. From the greeting you get at the front door from Jeanette, to the interactions with the Vet. You can tell they really take pride in what they do here. I transferred from a different vet on island, that I never really felt heard or cared for. That is not the case at South Shore Veterinary Care. I have never looked back since finding them.

We love south shore vet! The quality of care is top notch. They offer kind caring services.
They are very knowledgeable and I feel my pet is cared for and is healthier because of them! They are located in North Kihei which makes it an easy drive from upcountry! Well worth the effort!

South Shore veterinarian care saved my cats life. My cat suffers from cancer in her lung and brain, she had a 15% chance of survival and four months later she is thriving!
Dr. Dressler is a miracle worker. He saved her life when nobody else could. His staff, Jeanett and John have also been incredible, so caring, kind, and empathetic to our journey through this. I will never see another doctor and staff for my animal needs… I am so grateful!

Since 2012 we'd been going to South Shore Vet in N. Kihei. (they helped us with Dogs HI. State incoming Dogs paperwork when we flew out from CA. to our Maui move). Jeanett at the front is an Absolutely amazing Manager with incredible bedside manner: caring, and listens patiently whenever our Jack Russell or Lab Mix had any issue….she is very educated on medications, and procedures, and is an articulate and super detailed person! (always making sure if we had ANY medication questions at all-they were answered). Dr. Dressler is very knowledgeable and discusses treatment options, providing a range and Dr. is also very proactive in Holistic Health as well as traditional. We lost our beloved senior dogs (after a long, happy life with us) and that “time” was met with sincere compassion and care from the entire staff.

Dr. Damian Dressler has been entrusted with a couple of generations of my furry family members for over 15 years. Initially I chose him as the veterinarian for his academic credentials. As time passed it began to be apparent to me that Dr. Dressler is also gifted in his ability to evaluate not only the medical needs of his patients but also in his ability to clearly communicate to the me his diagnoses and evaluations in ways that I can understand as the pet parent. He has always given my dogs and cats the very best possible care.

I cannot say enough good things about the exceptional care my pets have received at South Shore Veterinary Care. My dog Luna has faced several health challenges, including a knee tear, skin cancer, and joint pain, and the team here has gone above and beyond in her treatment. We had previously struggled to find a clinic that would prescribe Librela, but they not only listened to our concerns but also recommended it as part of Luna’s treatment. Since starting on Librela, Luna’s quality of life has dramatically improved. She is more comfortable, active, and happy than she’s been in a long time.
Additionally, I’ve been taking my cat Sunnie to them for digestive issues, and they are the first clinic that has given me hope in finding a solution to his problems after many others couldn’t. Jeanette, who works there, has been wonderful to work with and is always so nice to see. The vets and staff are compassionate, thorough, and truly care about the well-being of the animals they treat. I am so grateful for the care they’ve provided my pets and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Have been going to Dr. Dressler for many years with my cats. I trust him with my cats and their well being because of his knowledge, professionalism, experience and great staff team. My cats are family so that means a lot. Dr. Dressler first takes his time talking to me and asking me what my concerns are and then will do the full examination. Then he comes out and discusses the exam in detail. If there is a treatment plan he discusses that as well and before anything is done he gives me a written estimate for me to review and approve. So there are no surprises when time to pay. He also shares with me if there are other options to their treatment, including possible holistic options. If any of my cats had a procedure like dental work or bloodwork Dr. will call the next day to ask how my cat is doing. Or call to go over their bloodwork results. The front staff Jeanett always greets you with a warm friendly welcome and I enjoy talking with her. And look forward to seeing her next time. The back of the house staff is great as well. So with that said “5 stars” for South Shore Veterinary. To all of the Staff…Thank you for caring.
