My family has been coming here for decades, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Maui! Steps from the beach, a heated salt water pool, a little shop and (coming soon!) a 5 star restaurant downstairs! This place is what dreams are made of

Mana Kai was the perfect place to stay. It was close to everything & the oceanfront rooms with the private lanai were amazingly comfy. Out of all the beaches we visited, the beach at Mana Kai was the best.

Awesome location right on the beach! There's 808 general store on the property to get anything you may have forgotten. We stayed in a "B" suite, which was a little small. Next time we come, we'll get an "A" suite.
Walkability: Not really walkable if you're trying to get into Kihei.

Would have rated lower, but it’s kind of on par for what you pay. It’s not the worst. Our room was decent and clean, but carpeted (which is the worst for beach trips) and weird little issues (like only one tiny trash can in the bathroom). The shared entry for rooms was also bizarre. Like you need to input a very long code, twice, to get into first a tiny little hallway that leads to two rooms and then again to get into your room. The service was confusing. I was told beach chairs were included at one point, then I was told they were discounted, but it ended up being full price. Which was fine, they have good rates, but it was just odd that no one had the same info. Even parking, we were told to park in public parking. Then the one night the lot filled, they asked why we weren’t assigned a space… idk it was all just very bizarre. I probably wouldn’t come back, but if you’re looking for a reasonably priced place right on the beach this place is good enough for a couple days.

Great service, they even got our place clean and let us check in a few hours early. Pool was super nice and of course the beach was as well.
