“The room was very nice, though a bit small, but given the price, there's no complaint.

The yard was well maintained, but felt a bit too artificial.

The location was pretty good, with many things within driving distance, but nothing within walking distance. It was also quite close to the highway, which could be a bit noisy.

And shout out to the host Angie, who was super nice and helpful.

Overall, the experience was more similar to a traditional hotel than a bed and breakfast. Given the value, I would definitely choose it over any traditional hotel. However, there are rental apartments with competitive prices, full amenities, and more convenient locations.”

“Clean and cozy bed and breakfast. The rooms are also equipped with a small kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, microwave and refrigerator. The landlady Eva is a very nice and helpful woman. Our room had a terrace where you could sit outside and have breakfast. The only negative point is that the many dogs are cute, but you have to be careful when they run into your room, it can happen that their little leg is lifted somewhere”

“You seriously can't ask for a better location. We saw turtles every morning and evening right off the beach, which is fairly private. The rooms were nice, nothing super fancy but really, how much time are you spending in the room. We stayed here with two toddlers and it was awesome! I will definitely stay here again!

Nearby activities: Lots to do nearby, restaurants, beaches, surfing, brewery and so much more! Great central location.”

“10/10 recommend and would absolutely visit again! I was in desperate need of a private space for an evening meeting (co working spaces would be closed and cafes were too noisy) and Nona Lani Cottages absolutely saved me. From the moment they answered the phone to when I left the cottage, the staff was absolutely wonderful (shoutout to Aisha) and so helpful. They put together a package for me to use the space just for a few hours and it was exactly what I needed. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and easy to access. Whether it’s for a few hours of quiet, comfortable work or a multi-day stay, I would 100% visit again.”

“Have to give this place 5 stars. Came with a group of 6 adults, 2 kids and it was perfect for our stay. The house is immaculately clean, the rooms are nicely sized and a bonus is that each room has their own bathroom. Kitchen was top notch, high end appliances (Viking) and the W/D came in handy everyday during our 1 week stay. Loved the balcony, location (Wailea) and everything about this place. Can't wait to come back.”

“Staying in Sugar Beach Resort by Ali'i Resorts was the best decision that we could ever do for our vacation in Maui. First, there is great communication with Susan (manager of Ali'i Resorts) so the check-in is very easy. The apartment is beachfrotn so you can sleep listening the waves. It was in perfect condition and has everything that you need to make your stay special. Then, the location of the appartment in Sugar beach is very well located. Sugar beach is a beautiful sandy beach that you can walk for a long time, and can do some snorkeling; more importantly, the appartment is in the very strategic point in Maui as it has similar distances to all the different and beautiful beaches around Maui. AMAZING PLACE AND I WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. Mahalo Ali'i Resorts!”

“Stayed at Sugar Beach Resort last month. I have stayed there 22 times. We stayed this time at unit 213. Very dated and needed sprucing up! Not enough seating! Have stayed in numerous condos there. Some are better than others of course. Pictures mean nothing as some are poorly stocked whereas others have many amenities! Luck of the draw. Sugar Beach is very private as very few people on the 6 mile stretch of sand. The resort has a nice pool and hot tub. Just steps from the pool to the beach. There’s a place to eat there on the grounds called the Sand Witch. Good sandwiches!! Overall great place to stay.”

“Sandy Surf K508 is a great place to stay at Wailea!
Our family had a wonderful stay in Sandy Surf K508. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, we had plenty of space to gather (and be apart at times, too). We used the grill the first night; that's a great feature! We had a professional chef prepare a special meal in the fully (and I mean FULLY) equipped kitchen one night, and we prepared many of the rest of our meals on a catch-as-catch-can basis as busy adults kept their own schedules. This unit is a wonderful place to stay and play. The Private Paradise Villas (PPV) concierge helped plan several activities, and the PPV staff made certain we were made aware of any weather that might have interfered with our plans. Check-in and departure were a breeze, with personal help when needed and full instructions other times. We can't always get the entire clan together for a trip like this, but if we do it again, we hope Sandy Surf K508 is available.”

“Overall, the stay here was extraordinary. Super well-maintained rooms. Beautiful sunset view from within the hotel. The balcony adds another nice spot to watch the ocean and sunset. Beautiful shoreline can be reached in a just a few steps from the building. Great communication. Didn’t have any issues during our stay. It was perfect!”

“Stayed for 5 nights in the middle of May and loved it, nice rooms clean staff super friendly and helpful they went that extra mile to make our stay brilliant. We had no credit or debit card, they didn't except cash but they accommodated us and couldn't do enough for us and nothing was a hassel to them. For this reason I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Kihei and I would go back in a heart beat. The Kohea Kai was a stone's through away from beautiful beach walks and not far from shops and restaurants. So a big thankyou to all the Staff at the Kohea Kai from Steve and Jacqui ?”
