My daughter noticed a dog in the window for her souvenir, but the store was closed. There is a sign out front letting you know when they would be returning, but we came back on four different occasions at the time on the sign to find no one there each time. Super disappointing as Google also states the store is open.

Great little shop tucked away on the 2nd floor of The Shops at Wailea, near the center court area where they usually have their complimentary Polynesian show. My husband and I wandered in to check out their selection of OluKai sandals. They literally have the biggest selection of flip flops/sandals/"slippas" that you could ask for, and a variety of brands too! Once inside, you'll see that they have much more than just footwear. I'm talking local gifts/souvenirs, art, jewelry, Hawaiian shirts and other clothing for the whole family (even for pets), hats, home decor, and more! Mahalo to Larry, the kind gentleman who was working the day we stopped in. He talked story with us, and told us that Elephant Walk was one of the original stores in this beautiful outdoor shopping center (way before the big designer brand name shops rolled in). Wanting to support this local business, I ended up purchasing a pair of tan OluKai flip flops that I'd actually been wanting for a long time. We even got a little bonus ceramic Honu (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle) to take home, which was such a nice gesture of thanks and Aloha! That small personal touch that small shops like this can give you goes a long way. We'll definitely stop in again the next time we're back on island!

Love this shop! And my little man looks so cute in his Hawaiian shirt! They had so much to pick from and prices were very reasonable!

Small Hawaiian boutique in the Shops of Wailea. Some cute stuff in there, but most of it didn't have a more local or Maui theme. I guess I was just being a tourist and wanted to buy something unique.
