This is the best store on Maui for our needs. They have a great stock of items that Home Depot or Lowes don't have, have to order. We needed tile grout sm amt for repair and toilet water valve, and other items to do repairs. So happy to find ACE had all of them. Very friendly and helpful staff!

I visit this store often as a property manager, and every trip is always a great experience. The employees are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Randi, in particular, goes above and beyond—she’s always attentive and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction.

Worst Ace hardware store I've ever been to employee asked me to remove my backpack so I complied nicely and left it at the front door where they asked I finished my shopping and when I come back to my backpack it's wide open and it's been dug into by the employees I don't recommend going to the store ever again

Great store and well stocked. One of the associates there, named Z, was fabulous. Had great customer service and knew where everything was. There was a customer in front of me not being so nice and he handled it like a pro. Please give him props!

Whoever the crotchety woman who calls herself a manager (mid 2025) there is should be fired. The lady at the front called for help because they keep things locked up, she shows up. She’s clearly irritated that she has to work and after I ask her for something else she says “I was helping another customer over there you know?” I’m sorry, I didn’t call you over, this is a store issue and has nothing to do with me. I thought Ace was the Place for Help? Not management complaining about having to do their job and be courteous while doing it. She isn’t qualified for that position, she shouldn’t work with customers

Jerilac (cashier) was very rude, this place is deeply over priced and sells defective items. Super annoyed with my experience today, while the manager remedied the situation, Jerilac continued to be rude and unhelpful, out of spite? I’m not sure. Going to stay going to Lowe’s and Home Depot.
