Nice ambiance and friendly staff. The food is amazing and it's right next to the beachside which is even better!

We had an appointment to visit the columbarium. It was very well kept and the cemetery too. There is a gift shop open-check for hours. Rev.Jiko was very sweet, humble, kind and very helpful! The yard and landscaping was well done and peaceful. They offer different classes/activities.

Small historic mission in the Kona area built in 1914. My grandparents' ashes are there & unfortunately these days you have to get the reverend to open up the urn room because it's locked. Some lovely orchids around. Peaceful. There is also a hall for family or community gatherings.

As a practicing Buddhist without a local temple where I live in Chattanooga, TN this was a very very special experience for me. The service was entirely in Japanese, but the explanation of the readings was mostly in English. I was able to purchase a book on the teachings of buddha and also donate to the temple by purchasing a charm for my cat at home. It is a beautiful temple and I would highly recommend it for meditation or to hear the dharma.
