“It’s my first time going there and both female employees were great at greeting me, and they not knowing it’s my 1st time. I went there to seek items that I might need and yes found an item which is a lot lesser then eBay. I didn’t get her name but she was very gracious as we approached the register. Gave my card, tried it a couple of times but it was not my card. Something was wrong with there system. She tried again but the system wasn’t reading, very polite way she stated she gotta let her Boss know about there system. I had no problem so I said to her I’ll be back for the item. Upon my return both female employees had given me a huge discount. Because their Boss felt it was an inconvenience that was caused by their system. As a 1st time customer and it won’t be my last, I say KUDOS to the owner and it’s employees. Mahalo D”

“At the Saturday concert organized by the Salvation Army, there was a special band composed of young people, and young singers sang songs. Many small town residents gathered together to sit or stand aside to watch, and a quick mat was spread on the grass. Pads, sitting anywhere, the atmosphere is very good, let us stop and watch when passing through the town.”

“Parking is terrible and it gets pretty warm inside. The good news is that they are eventually moving to a new location that should have lots of space to park and AC.Like with many stores you have to check in your large bag. I usually carry a backpack and was politely asked to check it in or leave it in my car. Unfortunately as you see in the news shoplifting is a thing and guess what, used stuff gets stolen all the time cause otherwise home break-ins would never happen since everything in your home is used...so go figure that one out to the princess who got upset over an bag policy.Other than the known issues I find the workers to generally be nice and the prices reasonable. As for selection well - they sell what gets donated so I don't really understand those that complain about what's available. I guess to them YOU are responsible since you haven't donated better stuff. Sheesh...since when did Hilo get so soft?”
