I'd been hoping to add a star as at least some folks at the company seemed seriously apologetic when hearing of my difficulties and made at least some efforts to resolve the issues, which are ongoing. Alas, there's a new chapter and it's mostly not good. My car arrived at the port yesterday and was available for pickup today. The good news is that it was on time and intact. The bad news is that they hadn't relayed my name to Matson, the shipping company at the port handling the cargo, so they couldn't release the car to me until they got confirmation from the movers that it was really supposed to be given to me. That resulted in about 20 minutes worth of frantic phone calls and annoyance. Still, I finally had my car. Unfortunately, my car is now deeply infused with the aroma of someone's stale cigarette smoke. WTF??? No one has EVER smoked in this or any car I've owned, but the smell of stale cigarette smoke is imprinted in my memory from spending my childhood with parents who smoked like chimneys. This just feels like the final insult. What a horrible, horrible company. One last note that may be of use. When you book a move from the San Francisco Bay Area to Hawaii via Royal Hawaiian, you actually end up actually dealing with THREE separate entities: DeWitt, Ace Relocation, and Royal Hawaiian Movers. Whether they are actually branches of the same company or separate entities with some sort of business arrangement, I do not know. What I do know is that the result is that the left hand often has no clue what the right hand is doing, compounding the difficulties in getting anything resolved. Run as far away from these people as fast as your legs will carry you.

Their team of movers came on time and listened to what needs to be moved and more. There was a last minute request and they fulfilled it with no hesitation. Highly recommend Royal Hawaiian movers to anyone and definitely will use them again in the future.

The Gents were fast and efficient. They handled all of our possessions with care and were able to finish ahead of schedule. They catered to our requests and made sure we were all set before leaving. Highly recommend their services.

Used them twice now, both when we moved to the island and when we bought our house, and everyone was organized, friendly and accommodating. LeAnn in the office was really on top of it and worked with me so much when our closing was pushed back. The guys did a great job and respected our homes and belongings, came prepared, and worked fast and efficient. I'd use them for every move.

Contracted to move furniture from Hilo to the mainland; very impressed all the way through from getting the quote to making the arrangements for packing/pickup, and shipping & delivery. A lot of paperwork to fill out...to be expected to make sure everything is in order, but Liane was very helpful to assist with completing the forms. They were able to accommodate the requested pickup day/time and the crew was very efficient in packing things up with care. Shipping/delivery actually went quicker than expected, and the delivery crew brought everything in, unpacked, inspected (no damage...even a fragile glass table top came through unscathed), and hauled away the packing material. Pricing was very fair and courteous communication helped everything go smoothly. Moving companies can be sketchy but I would rate RHM an A+ for customer service, execution, and trustworthiness. Mahalo nui loa...RHM no ka oi!

We moved 3 vehicles and our personal belongings from Denver, Colorado to Pahoa, Hawaii. Everyone we dealt with at Royal Hawaiian, and their mainland partners, DeWitt Moving, was exceptionally polite, efficient, and prompt. This includes the guys who picked up our stuff in Denver, the young man who picked up our vehicles in Denver, to the folks in Hilo, Hawaii who gave us our vehicles, and the gentlemen who delivered our personal belongings to our Hawaii home. We knew the progress of our vehicles and belongings from pickup to final delivery. It was the least stressful part of our move. Our things arrived in great condition. I was very impressed with their service and would highly recommend them.

We just had a great experience with Royal Hawaiian Movers. I highly recommend them! We had to move three very large, oddly shaped, fragile items to another island. They helped us with understanding how to do the shipment and were incredibly patient with all my million questions. When it came time for the pick up in Hilo and delivery in Oahu everything went perfectly on both ends. We will definitely be shipping with them again.

These movers are great! I have two harps that need to move from Hawaii Island to Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. The logistics of all that are pretty complicated. The airlines would not take my larger harp, as I am not a known shipper. So I contacted Royal Hawaiian. They have a wonderful staff. Everything from the original survey to the packing was done efficiently, professionally, and with aloha. It will take 4-6 weeks for my harps to get to Alaska, but I have peace of mind with the way things were handled on the Hawaii end, with Royal Hawaiian.
