If I could give a negative star reviewI would do it. Pauline is the most rude and hostile human on the planet. Basically could not care less about helping us get a wheelchair the day we needed it. Very inhumane treatment and obviously should be in another line of work. Good luck, Pauline, you need it.

I have been trying to get a medical bed for my husband using Rainbow Medical Supply since April....and we are still waiting for delivery. I do not understand how in the world they stay in business! They just lead you on forever and ever. I cannot recommend this company.

I purchased a wheelchair for my wife over a month ago. They have not called me back concerning where the wheelchair is. I have tried calling multiple times to check on it and no one seems to know what is going on. I know it's a holiday weekend, but if they don't answer the phone on Monday I will be demanding a full refund. My wife fell again two days ago. The loaner they gave us is not working...too small. It would be nice if someone answered the phone or call back.

We were running errands with a 91 year old in town and we decided to stop by to see if they had any walkers. Turns out they're appointment only. Which is no issue. So we call them on spot. I inquire about their stock and their schedule availability. They refuse to divulge anything until they receive our Insurance information. For the record we have great insurance & funds are not an issue. I say "no need" because we we're planning on buying one out of pocket. We end the call with no resolution. As we are headed back to the car a woman approaches us and says she is a nurse that works there who is in charge of liability and asks what she can do. That was the extent of her politeness. She was rude in a public place and pointed out an injury that the 91 y/o was recovering from. Which was humiliating. A real failure of customer service and therapeutic rapport. I'd suggest that she either review her Continued Education or reconsider her occuption. Patient Care is not a priority here.

stay clear this company.id rather get all my teeth pulled without novacaine then deal with the bad energy in that place its so thick with negativity there choking on there own words and expect nothing but rude crude people .they should be shut down they can not handle the needs of East Hawaii and do a horrible job pretending they can.I would not even try get a bandaid from them .Id rather bleed out then have a conversation with them.Bad Rainbow should be ashamed of the way you treat the disabled.No Alohanot Pono

It seems impossible to get any service from this company. Went there in person 6 days ago, was told needed to call as you cant do any business in person. Staff I was talking to was less than friendly.Called and spoke to a Paula which took all my part numbers down and promised a call back from a Sales Person. Forward to 5 days latter and still no call back. Once again I called to be told that the Sales person was too busy to call me back and would whenever she finds the time.Now mind you there is no insurance involved in my purchase, as I am paying privat for the item.The worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time! I heard horror stories about this company, but now I got to experience their miserable attempt at customer service first hand. Giving one star is being generous!

We had a very positive experience buying several pieces of equipment over the past year. We had no trouble with purchase. Staff was exceedingly polite and helpful. Amy helped us with purchase and assembly and sent follow up text. She worked with me via text when I was out of state. We were able to complete purchase and pick up in one day just before a hurricane and during Covid. Mahalo!

Nice workers and the final result ended up working. Horrible customer service. This business is to be avoided if at all possible at all costs it would have been cheaper and less stressful to pay out right from another company instead of use rainbow medical in Hilo Hawaii who goes through Medicare. I hope i never have to go back there or use them ever again. I agree with the other negative reviews and I wish there was a way to give negative stars. I usually don't complain about places unless it's really bad but my experience was horrible and costly also I have never been yelled at by the owner of a business before and hung up on. Incredibly rude to me, dishonest, disorganized, unprofessional.Also until now I never had I had workers of a business complain about the owner to me. They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau also to Medicare and Medicaid and to your health insurance provider.

not good. twice i've tried to use their service. all they needed was my insurance and ID. they refused my prescription for a wheelchair unless my granddaughter signed for it. then i needed a walker and it was completely covered by my insurance. they wanted to charge me for the seat and brakes. beware

They were extremely rude and judgemental, I went to their storefront and in person i asked how much a knee brace would cost without insurance. The manager said if they told me how much and I couldn't afford it, i couldn't use my insurance to pay... saying I would be wasting his time!!! UNREAL!!! WOW!!! I used to work with developmentally disabled adults and I recall it took them months to fill orders and they usually messed it up someway! Terrible business practices! I am going to boycott them...
