Nice guy, looked at my car found the problem with my door, ordered the part. When the part came in called and installed the part. Works great, would recommend this guy for your car if you need service.

HORRIBLE - run the other direction. I wish there were negative stars. I had my car towed to him, he had it for 6 months, charged me $140 per hour labor (total bill $2,600) and it came back worse then when I dropped it off. He fixed things that weren't broken (new water pump, timing belt) and then wouldn't take responsibility for not fixing what was wrong. He said I didn't mention it was overheating but that was the whole reason it had to be towed to him. Then he hangs up on me. HORRIBLE, awful, definitely find someone else.

I called Habermann's Auto Repair and got a Voicemail asking me to leave a message, which I did, stating that I needed to make an appointment to have my transmission repaired on my 1995 GMC 1500 4 X 4. I waited three days and never received a call back. I called again and asked for a call back to make an appointment for repair work. Again, no call back several days later. I am disabled so I'm home 99% of the time and have caller ID. I didn't miss the call back. Thus the 1 Star rating. I won't call back! Poor way to do business.

John is amazing. He was the hero in a year-long saga to fix my A/C, and I wish I had just gone to him in the first place and saved myself a lot of money and grief. The A/C in my Honda Civic stopped working suddenly so I suspected it was a part and not just a failing compressor. Someone recommend a mobile mechanic, who diagnosed that it was my pressure switch. However, while he was testing my system, the car stopped turning on. He told me that it was because the anti theft system had been activated (not true). I had a different mobile mechanic come out who thought the original guy had just blown some fuses, and discovered he had actually fried the computer. I bought a used computer and my bf installed it, but I had to tow it to the dealership to get it reprogrammed. Car turned on, but no A/C. My bf replaced the initial part (the pressure switch), and took it to John for a recharge hoping that would be the end of it. Still didn't work!! I had all but given up. John offered to diagnosis it himself. An hour later, he figured out it was an $8 relay. He fixed it the same day. Thank you John!!! You have a customer for life.

Great having a mechanic who is so knowledgeable and trustworthy. He does the jobs most shops can't. Definitely recommend!
