“Molokai Plumerias is such a wonderful location and farm on the Friendly Isle! I had the chance to meet Dick, who co-owns the farm with his wife Aome, and he gave me a nice tour of the plumeria farm and explained how they pick the right flowers to put together authentic Hawaiian leis. On the tour, you get to pick your own plumeria flowers and then learn how to sew and make your own lei, which is really awesome and a great learning experience! All of the other mainstream attractions in Hawaii use those purple orchid leis nowadays, likely due to more availability and lower costs versus plumeria flowers, but you get the authentic experience at Molokai Plumerias and the plumeria leis smell much nicer! Highly recommended!”
