I came in with my sister around 7:15pm and the first side of the store by target an employee walked past we looked at each other he didnāt say anything and I didnāt either. We went to the other side of the store near NYX and he was shortly over there and made eye contact again and didnāt say anything so neither did I and at this point we were ready to go.
While checking out at the end of my transaction, I let the cashier know as constructive criticism if youāre going to meet a guest at 2 parts of the store and make eye contact you should at least speak so it doesnāt look like Iām being followed in the store (due to talking in the headset). She first said he wasnāt talking about us and I said and thatās fine but my experience as a guest, would lead me to feel uncomfortable and ready to leave the store if you placed yourself in my shoes. She asked if anyone spoke to us and I told her and then said well did anyone help you guys and we said no but he was in 2 different spots of the store and she looked and just blankly stared while I was explaining. She then couldnāt have looked at me as if I were crazy any more than she did and it was very clear by her monotone oh.. sorry and stare that she didnāt care about my experience as a paying customer. She continued staring and didnāt bag my items and I had to ask for a bag, I was in the process of recording content and just left so if you enjoy similar experiences this is the ulta for you! I can guarantee they will not disappoint in providing a poor experience and acting as if youāre a bother when you bring it to someoneās attention. My receipt says the cashiers name is Joleen but I didnāt catch her name on the tag but will never return.

My mom & I went to do our hair and makeup for a wedding. (Blow out and formal makeup) my makeup had different color foundation where he tried to color match me, my wing liner was off. One was bigger than the other. The picture I showed him wasnāt even close to what he put on my face. And my mom wanted a dark look for her makeup and he didnāt do that, he did SUPER LIGHT, no eyebrows, no contour, no nothing. Our hair is nothing like a blow out.. Iām sad. I didnāt want to hurt his feelings there because it was a packed store. But Iām sorry, it was really bad.

I went in for a full highlight, and my hair was completely destroyed. I ended up going to another salon to try to get it fixed, and the only thing to do was to get six inches cut off my hair. Be very cautious going here.

Just saw 10 women this morning from 9am try to open the door. Not sure why they'd make opening hours at 11am since most women get up early on Sundays because everything closes early.

Already have had 2 bad experiences. First experience: I booked an appointment at the salon a week in advance. The same day less than an hour before appointment time they call to tell me they canāt take me in. Second experience: I go into the store to buy some things and also update my name and phone number on my account. The cashier took down my new info, didnāt proceed to ask me for my ID tho which I thought was a little strange but come to find out she didnāt change anything on my account. Will go to the pearl city or Kailua location from now on.

The Kapolei salon is wonderful. My daughter recently became interested in style and Talitha was the perfect stylist to see.She was able to give her a beautiful cut and some simple highlights to bring it out without overdoing it .
When I made an appointment for myself , my hair took the color a little dark. The Ulta Salon really stepped up to do a color correction. Their customer service was nothing short of outstanding and Julie went above and beyond.I ended up with hair that I absolutely love. Talitha,Julie and management, you guys are awesome.Big thanks and Happy New Year !

I use to love coming here. As of today, they just lost a client. I went in to have my hair colored and the stylist showed me the color she was going to do. We agreed on blonde. However, my hair came out a rusty brown color. It was horrible looking on me. She was nice and offered to fix it at that time. However, I had plans after my appointment so I couldn't fix it at that time. The stylist asked a manager to comp it for me. The manager gave me a 30% discount. I was offended by that. I gave the stylist a hug and said at least you tried. I didn't make a fuss. I just paid it and left. I called back the next day to make an appointment to have it fixed and was told it was starting price of $176. I asked why am I being charged to fix the mistake that the stylist made? I was told it was because I was given a discount for the services I just received. This isn't how to treat your customers. I would have given 1 star but the stylist was super nice and she did recommend a great shampoo that actually worked for my hair type. So, I do appreciate that. Sadly, like I mentioned earlier, I will no longer be a client here.
