US Vets helped get on my way by pointing me in the right direction. The staff are helpful in ways Vets should understand. Good place to be if you’re in the wrong place of mind. Aloha and Mahalo. Kanoa is the guy though he’s a good one

Thanks to the whole staff here Dr. Kim, Ashley, Sabrina, Katie, Kanoa, Steven Clark, Brittney, Amanda, Mike Gotti and anyone all of the roommates who helped change my life around. They provided a beautiful home with food, a shower, a bed, counseling, job opportunities, everything I needed to be successful in life. I came there with absolutely nothing and I left with heart full of Aloha?\\nNew gazebo being built to welcome veterans, roomy space to do paperwork, school work, yoga, exercise, and be productive.

I'm a disabled vet who lived at US Vets. Overall, it was a safe landing spot and a great place to recover from a few of life's struggle. I could focus on the negatives, but that would do a disservice to the overall picture. I was fed, had a place to sleep, and people who for the most part did their job to support myself and other vets. There were some issues totally not right; (very poor quality of the facilities in 202) but I'll leave it to others to scrutinize the place.Only had a problem with one staff member there, and he was a major rude guy.... thus 3 stars and not 4 or 5.

U. S. Vets was a wonderful life changer for me and so many Veteran's that I know. I was able to get my life back together after going real low. I am so very appreciative to the staff that helped me out 10 years ago. I am now living such a blessed life thanks to U.S Vets Barbers Point..... Darrell was a great leader....I have such good memories...

First thing I am thankfull to be here. However Maintenance here is like pulling teeth to get work done here. One of our toilets has been broken for 43 days as of this pxosting. Our water heater went out and it took 11 days to repair. At one point for about 10 days we were down to two toilets only. Normally there are 2 urinals and 3 toilets. This bathroom is used by 30+ men daily. Sprinkler lines have broken in several places creating wet muddy areas where someone could slip and fall. Work force development staff here are the best at getting things to help vets.

I was stationed at Barbers Point Hawaii with VP1 in the late 80s and early 90s and after that was attached to AIMD Avionics NAS Barbers Point I become Homeless after a tradgic fire and came to US Vets for assistance in procuring housing as well as seeking employment, I was appalled at the treatment I received and treated as if I had a drug and alcohol problem, the living conditions were also degrading and unsanitary, I was glad to leave that facility and the VA hospital here in Chicago was instrumental in helping me US Vets needs to shut down and cease operations

As a an old salty Marine with Combat P.TS.D. I highly recommend the service and care I have received while enrolling in the program. There are plenty of options available and a staff that really want to get us off the streets for good. Semper Fidelis
