“My daughter has grown and learned so much while attending Seagull Schools. She loves her teachers and classmates. It's a great school and look forward to sending her younger brother there too.”

“First of all a huge Mahalo to Yelp Hawaii and Mālama Learning Center for the opportunity to take part in the Calabash & Cooks event at Kapolei High School which was an outstanding experience for me and my plus one.Upon arrival we were greeted by the Mālama staff with students assisting in every which way with meet and greets which I thought was simply adorable! We were a general admission and were instructed all foods are grab and go, in the back is an area for silent auction and not to miss the country store. In the cafeteria are vip guests that have reserved seating with the students bringing the food items on serving trays while being entertained is groovy. Me and my bestie was just blown away with the foods prepared by both sponsors and local area High Schools.* Roy's Ko Olina - Kahumana Organic Green & Shaved Vegetable Salad* Kalapawai Café and Deli - Poke Nacho* Support Source Hawai'i - Guava Brisket Slider with Pot & Mac Salad* Taqueria La Marea - Shredded Pork Carnitas & Shredded Chicken Tacos* Waipahu High (Culinary Arts Pathway) Katsu Fried Green Tomatoes* Moanalua High (Meneculinary) Local Thai Pork Stir Fry* Kapolei High (Culinary Program) Chamorro Style Kaua'i Shrimp Patties* Wai'anae High (Searider Culinary) Crème Brûlèe infused w/Ewa Sweet Corn* Wai'anae High (Searider Culinary) Hāmākua Mushroom Risotto w/chickenI am allergic to shrimp so I'm unable to taste that one BUT my bestie is the ultimate seafood lover and was blown by Kapolei High's Chamorro Style Kauai Shrimp Patties with Ewa Sweet Corn and Togorashi Aioli...whew!! She loved it so much she went back to find out what's in it and the recipe which the sweetest student was delighted to do so. I then entered the silent auction and did bit on a couple items (didn't get it) then to the country store tent filled with plants, handmade crafts and even soaps made by Mālama volunteers and so much more! We couldn't resist a plant, several soaps, a surfboard rug and why not it's all for a great cause! It's so inspiring how they bring awareness to students to look outside the box and explore other possibilities as we met students with so much passion and was so excited with their direction...yes!! It's sure been decades since I've graduated from high school and my how I'm just amazed how things have changed for our bright future to dream and do.Thank you!”

“We sent both of our daughters to the elementary side of IPA when we lived in Nanakuli. We were happy with this school, especially the principal Mr. Ross, the kindergarten teacher Mrs. Kuahiwinui, and second grade teacher Mrs. Dube. Our girls had a good experience and as parents we were happy with their academic progress and we felt well informed; the school had good communication with families.”

“My daughter went to school here from August 2016-January 2018 and we absolutely loved it. From the first time we stepped foot on the campus to her very last day, we felt 100% comfortable dropping her off. All of the teachers and office staff were always friendly and accommodating. She was very attached to all of her teachers and she came out of her shell and made a lot of new friends. If we had stayed on island longer, she would have definitely stayed here until it was time for Kindergarten. We miss you Seagull School Ko Olina!”
