Staff and coaches are the best here! I would name them all but I don’t want to miss any of them. Great workout!

Thorough and energizing workout every? time?! The studio is also spacious enough to move between stations easily + the coaches and staff couldn’t be better. Great place!!

I was referred here for a free session by one of my friends who is a coach at this location. First impression of OTF is that the ladies at the front desk were very nice and attentive. They got me signed up right away when I walked in. It was smaller than I expected, and did not have the large range of space that most gyms have, which I later understood why. It wasn't until later that I realized OTF is not in fact a gym, but is a HITT studio-service (similar to that of Pure Barre but with actual gym equipment). The workout tracks your intensity based on heart rate throughout the exercise and it's produced into points known as a Splat Number. The number is a combination of each HITT category you worked in (Orange, Red etc).Parking***We went on a Saturday morning around 1030 and the parking was horrendous because it's located in a plaza. It took us awhile driving around to find a spot that didn't have a time limit.Experience***The first thing they have you do is fill out an intake form and wait for the next class to start. You have to give them a credit card to keep on file since they require you to use one of their heart rate monitors for the exercise but they won't charge you unless you lose it for some reason. For the newbies, such as myself, the coach had us file into the room and showed us the basic format of what would be required for the class. I didn't need a lot of instruction on the exercises themselves, but it would have been nice to have had some instruction on using the rowing equipment as the monitor screen was outlayed differently than others I've used and the wattage was confusing to read once we started.Once she assigned us our rowers, she had us file back into the room with the rest of the classmates, which felt like we were about to get onto a Disney ride. The class was divided into two sections: 1/2 the class on rowers with the others on treadmills aka "Treads". Those on the rowers were the first to change out to the weight room, while those on the treadmills continued for half the class until both groups completely swapped. The workout was high intensity and I definitely had to push myself. Things did get a bit confusing at one point, as the coach was trying to talk to both groups at the same time and it was easy to get confused on her instructions since we didn't know who she was referring to or when we needed to stop while we were on the weights.Overall, I would say I enjoyed the class, although I could definitely do without the treadmill portion of the workout. It just seemed like we were on there way too long and the running got boring quick. Although I had a good experience, I can't see myself leaving my current gym since I need access to free weights and other types of classes based on the type of training I do. If it wasn't quite so expensive, I would consider joining in conjunction with my gym membership, but with the $59 price point for 4 classes a month, I just can't justify the cost at this time.

The workout was intense. Exactly what I was looking for. The screens show your heart rate so you can judge how well you're doing. You get out, what you put into the class.

I have been eyeing orange theory for a while now. I finally got the couraGe to try a class. When you first get there, the friendly staff greets you and checks you in. They make you feel soo welcoming. I was really nervous but everyone made the experience so enjoyable. The facilities are clean and the energy there truly makes you want to work out. If you are looking for something to fit into your schedule this is definitely the place. They have different class packages to choose from. I went with the 8 but I think after this first month I am definitely going to upgrade to unlimited, it's just that good. Thinking about trying it? You can try a free class!

I visit O'ahu pretty often being from Kapolei. This vacation, I decided to check the orange theory in Kapolei out and it is amazing. The instructors are so upbeat and motivating. Jean, knew and remembered my name by the end of the first class. I've been going to OTF in WA for about 4 months now and they don't even know my name! 4 classes at this location and I can say that, I would feel comfortable staying with OTF when deciding to move back home.

I won't go into great detail about how exactly OTF "works" because you can find many Yelp reviews + information on their site about the heart rate interval based type training. It can also get a bit confusing when I try to explain it but there are also many you tube videos that make it real clear. What I will share is my experience after 4 months & counting of Orange Theory. If it's something you're curious about but never got around to doing or are afraid of doing, trust me when I say DO IT. The first class (or two) are FREE and you're not obligated or pressured into signing up. I'll be honest when I say that before my first class I was super nervous. Nervous of being judged and not being able to keep up. I can truly say that it's probably the least judgmental workout environment I've been in. The coaches are AH MA ZING and the group setting is great because although it's a group, you're not competing against anyone but yourself. You set your own goals & it's "you vs you." At OTF you'll get a mix of both strength training & cardio. when I go to a traditional gym, I waste a lot of time not knowing what to do, but with the coaches guiding me, I leave my workout feeling accomplished! I've definitely noticed a huge change in my endurance & my pant size. Front desk staff is also super friendly and they definitely make it a point to get to know the members. It's a family oriented studio. The huge set back for a lot of people is the price because it can definitely get expensive month after month. To me, it's worth it. If price is an issue definitely look out for "specials" that happen once in a while.

I could tell a difference after just 3 workouts. Its so motivating to have your stats posted up on the board so you know exactly what you’re going for. Workouts are decided for you so all you have to do is show up! Coaches are knowledgeable and attentive, front desk staff is super friendly. Definitely worth it!

On a family vacay we stumbled in to OT for a pre turkey burn and our first ever class. Well needless to say Meghan is amazing and my wife and I are now hooked! Thank you so much to all of the staff for helping make it easy to sign up/try it and for such a fun atmosphere!

Such a welcoming staff! I moved to the island from VA and was hopeful that my new OTF studio would feel something like home and it does. Transitioning is so so tough, and finding a place that is familiar, fun and friendly is incredibly helpful. So thank you, OTF Kapolei, for welcoming me into your Ohana.

I put myself on the wait-list yesterday morning. I woke up the next morning and saw i was number 3 on the list, I said what the hell I'll roll the dice and try and see if I get in. So i show up and see that I got in. So I go change and when I come out of the bathroom one of the staff told me that I have wait because the person in front of me came. So i was okay fine , I was a little irritated but okay. Then another person comes in and says sorry I am only booked this morning. I was like what the hell i signed up yesterday. The staff pretty much told me that the wait-list is b******* and that if you sign up day of you can skip the waitist. ORANGE THEORY KAPOLEI YOU DISAPPOINT ME!!!
