It's bullshit I went in there to exchange at $50 bill for a smaller bills they wouldn't do it because I didn't have a membership but yet my husband is a 30 year veteran of the Navy if you're here to help the Navy out they need to help your by letting visitors to the island exchange bills.

On Saturday, 9/9, I went into the Kapolei branch to deposit money. The teller line was really long, almost out the door. When I got to the window, I handed my ID to the teller, Kelli, and told her my access number. I repeated my number 3 times to her. She used the machine to count my money and made the deposit and handed me my receipt. I say thank you and walk out the door. I just so happened looked at my receipt and noticed that she deposited my money into someone else's account. WTH! I immediately went back into the branch and told the lady at the front desk who then told me to stand back in line, which was almost out the door. I was furious. Once the same teller was done with her customer, I went back to her to fix it. This bitch didn't even remember that she just helpped me before her last customer. She was able to make the correction but that was the worst customer service I've ever received from NFCU. Kelli needs training. She is not qualified to be a teller. I was also disappointed that the greeter told me to stand back in the long line as if I made the mistake. I already stood in line for 20 minutes. Both ladies should have been more apologetic and worked to immediately fix the problem. I just want to know what the heck see looked at on the screen to verify my account with my ID. Please check your receipts before you leave the window to make sure the teller didn't make a mistake.

Went in to withdraw cash from my debit card. The lady named Cheryl has a very nasty attitude. She threw my I.d card on the counter when normally the teller will say here's your I.d back or something. She then just laid my money on the counter after counting. I asked for an envelope she just sat the envelope on top of the money. The previous teller did the exact opposite and was very helpful and polite, but I guess Cheryl is the exception. She may need retraining to get her customer assistance interactions up to par. It's only 9:30 am.....Thanks for ruining my day Cheryl.....

Went to make a wire transfer. The teller kept telling me i filled out the info wrong… spent 30 mins… just for them to say they don’t have anyone that knows how to do a wire transfer.#TGIF

Needed to get form notarized for my child's Driver's Ed course and was able to walk in and get it accomplished right before closing, folks there were very helpful.

WARNING TELLERS DONT COUNT CASH BEFORE DEPOSITING AND RELY ON THE MACHINE.I walked in with a bunch of cash to deposit and counted it before hand so I knew exactly how much it was and when I got there the girl assisting me took my cash and didn't even count the amount she was gonna stick into the machine. Then it jammed while it was counting my money and I watched them take out 2 crumpled bills and she said the machine shut down on her and gave me an amount it counted? Like ok how am I supposed to know if that was accurate because you didn't even count it! WTF and then she puts in the other half and then she proceeds to tell me the amount is LESS than what I counted. She asks if I want her to recount it, like DUH SHERLOCK??? She then grabs the cash and hands it to me to count it and I'm like ???? ISNT THIS YOUR JOB WTF I KNOW HOW MUCH IT IS??? And while I'm counting the half of stack she handed to me she has the AUDACITY TO BE TAPPING HER FINGERNAILS WHILE SHES WAITING. Her attitude sucked a** and she's hella lazy!!! She also refused to give me the other half of money she already counted because it was "already in the machine" like how does that make sense???? This branch is super LAZY and UNPROFESSIONAL. This lady better check herself and her attitude because next time I won't be so nice!!!!

I just saw my balance :( I'm usually at the Pearl Harbor branch (I know you read that review) but this location is closer to home. Best thing going for this office is its size. It's small meaning three teller windows and three offices for more complex transactions. But every time I've been here, only two of the offices have been occupied. They may be small, but handle the same jobs as the bigger branches. Overall five stars. Staff continues to be friendly and quick. Location is great with plenty of parking stalls. I would have taken some pictures, but I didn't want to appear that I'm casing the place out for some illegal withdrawals later. Now excuse me, my name got called. I'm applying for a loan to fill up my gas tank. M

The line is always out the door when I drive by, and maybe it's due to covid, but I've never seen more than 2 tellers working inside at a time. Regardless, I went to deposit a check and was informed a 2-business day hold would be placed on it due to the amount. Understandable. Just called NFCU customer service # as the check still hasn't cleared and was informed it's 5 business days, not 2. If the lady who helped me was in fact the branch director, as was stated on the office plaque, it's a little worrisome that company policy isn't correctly known. Also this is the third experience I've had where I feel like I'm being upsold at this branch, a huge pet peeve at a bank.

It's difficult to do in person banking because of limitations on numbers of people in the facility. Staff are doing their best compiling a list of names and allowing you in one at a time even taking phone numbers to call you if you want to step away from the line. ATM was not functioning properly so more people had to wait to enter.
