I’ve played a lot of courses and a lot of golf in different areas. It was a decent course but not worth the $200 for what you get for a non resident. If I was a resident and payed $80 it would have been a different story. I Traveled here for a wedding, played it cause was ranked high up and did a bunch of research of courses on Oahu. Greens were very nice, I will say that though. Other than that wasn’t anything special, I have played a $40 course in Iowa which was nicer and in more pristine shape. I wish I would have rather played Royal Hawaiian for a 2nd time in my opinion than here. Still very nice staff and was treated well by them. Beautiful clubhouse, Just the golf is not worth $200 is all.

Beautiful setting at the restaurant. We attended a wedding on Saturday. Food under seasoned, but that's my taste. Wonderful staff, very attentive.

Wind anyway.
Also, because it's Western grass, if you put it in the rough, you'll lose the ball and the club won't come through due to the strength of the grass.
I think it will be a completely different type of golf than the one played in Japan.

Great staff and facilities. The pace of play is decent. The difficulty of the course is moderate as long as you play to keep it in the fairway and try not to kill in and end up in the rough. Playing out the roughs is extremely difficult. It is one of the best courses on Oahu.

Well maintained greens and fairways.
However, unlike American golf courses, you may be pushed back and wait.

It was my first time playing a round.
Everything was great! I was healed by the beautiful scenery! ! Although the wind was strong, we had a great time playing golf.
KGC burger was delicious!
The person at the shop is very cheerful.
They talked to me about a lot of things in Japanese, so I was able to shop comfortably! !

I recently played a round at the Kapolei Golf Course in Hawaii, and I have to say, it was quite a disappointment. The pace of play was excruciatingly slow; it took nearly an hour and a half to complete just the first three holes. This dragged the overall experience down significantly, and I had to call it, barely making it through a handful of holes.
This kind of delay really detracts from the enjoyment and rhythm of the game. Given the high fees they charge, I expected a much more efficient and well-managed course.
In summary, the Kapolei Golf Course failed to deliver a satisfactory experience. The slow pace of play and the high costs make it hard to recommend this course. Save your time and money and look for a better golfing experience elsewhere.

Course is overpriced compared to Ko Olina. Staff were great though. For $15 more players Ko Olina.

5/5 for the whole package. Not because its the most spectacular course you’ll play but because its a really nice course, well maintained, very friendly staff, great facilities and reasonably priced(especially as a local).
If I lived on the west side this would be my regular. ??

The rough was like a golf course in Hokkaido, like grass and heavy, so I thought it would be a good idea to choose a higher club.
It was beautiful and the scenery was great!
Sausage dog is also good!
